Manly Monday With Tommy and Beebs

Tom
: Well, it's back to being grey and rainy but we did have a fabulously beautiful day yesterday, and #1 and I went on an adventure! Our friend, Titan, the Percheron horse, has almost finished his training and yesterday was the big first driving outing with his owners! He was all gotten up in his new harness...

And then we set off!

It was my very first experience riding in a horse-powered vehicle! The others were a little worried that I might get scared and leap out but #1 knows how manly I am. and said I would be fine, which I was!

It was obviously not possible for #1 to both ride in the vehicle and take photos of it, but look!

After we got back, Titan got a shower. You should have seen the steam rising off him! I sat by a very manly hay bale and watched:

Back to normal routine this rainy Monday. Frisbee anyone?

Bibi-Chan: When the weather was beautiful yesterday, we spent a lot of time in the run and I showed #1 just how manly I am when it comes to climbing:

I also kept a keen eye out for anything interesting that might have been going on around the run:

And afterwards enjoyed a relaxing nap on a comfy throw...

But of course everyone knows that true manliness lies in being able to do many things well, and so I am continuing to help #1 with the cooking on a regular basis:

Wishing you a lovely and sunny week.

  7. That looks like so much fun Tom. My Mom says that she used to have horses and Koda loved to go out with them. Bibi-chan your climbing is very scary, maybe we could climb together one day.

  8. Tommy, Grete is a bit jealous you got to ride in a horsie cart!

We are probably going to have a soggy week following a soggy weekend. Maybe by the end of the week we might see some sunbeams.
