Whirlwind Wednesday

Tom
: No, that would not be a description of our Internet connection... At this stage, we can get on but we can't watch videos or do anything very fancy. Every paw in the house is crossed that the "expert cell" will sort it out tomorrow.

Anyway, what I was referring to is my fun times with Damia in the big field! She lost her elderly big sister, Puce, to the Big C a little while ago and she is a bit lonely. Her owner adores her but doesn't go out much so she doesn't get to have much outdoor fun. Except.... that Damia has now realised that #1 and I are usually at the bottom of the big field, just behind her house, at about 5pm every evening, and so she comes out to play!

Damia is an incredibly fast runner (#1 says it's interesting to watch because Brittanies are built very differently from Springers and her gait is totally different from mine!). So, when we really get going, you can barely see us! Thus the whirlwind of the title!

As it was getting dark, we thought we would see if #1 was scared of our our laser eyes, but she just laughed! Damia is really good about not staying out too long so her owner doesn't worry about her.

Zoomies with friends really is the best!

  6. It makes us smile that Damia comes out to play with you in the field, Tommy. It's probably making her so happy to have a friend to romp with. xoxo

  10. What fun for you to have another dog to play with! And we are most certain Damia appreciates your companionship. Two beauties, you are. You'll stay in excellent condition with all of your activity. #1 must have exceptional cardiovascular fitness with you two to keep her on the run. Love to all.

  11. These dogs remind me of the ones who own the People who have a house nearby ours.

They run so fast that it scares me (but please do not tell anybody this!) and I usually come inside when the dogs are playing in my field.

  12. Whirlwind is right, Tommy - you can hardly tell there are two dogs in that blur of color:) We are happy for both you and Damia that you get to have fun together.

Hope the internet problem gets sorted out. We had to get a new modem and a new wireless router to get ours going right again. Good luck.
