Marvellous Monday - Together Again!

Hi everyone! I know it's Monday and thus supposedly full of manliness, but we have decided to go with the "Marvellous" theme today as we are celebrating #1's return last night. She made it home around 9:30pm, 22 hours after leaving her friend's flat in Tokyo! She says she got to see three movies and read a book on the plane but that it was still long and tedious.... Tommy, Mr. S and Ms. L went to meet her at the station in Le Mans, and we kitties were all gathered at the door for her arrival home!

She has yet to unpack properly but one of the things she brought back with her is some "Matatabi" spray (that's the Japanese equivalent to catnip and we just love it). So after she sprayed some of our toys, Tama-Chan and I had a bit of a 'Tabi-Fest!

But I was ready to resume my post on her in bed as soon as she got in!

First thing this morning, Tommy was ready with his Frisbee!

Apparently, he has done a bit of a job chewing on it whilst she was gone so it's not flying true anymore, and #1 has promised to break open a new one!

Tama-Chan found a wonderful sun-puddle in which to have a grateful nap:

And Bibi, being the helpful boy he is (Ha!) was there to assist #1 with the removal of the sheets after Mr. S and Ms. L left (sniff...). They really were wonderful to us and we hope they will come back!

#1 says she has one parting shot of Japan for you. She was delighted to be able to take this photo of stunning Mount Fuji from the plane shortly after take-off:

  1. The mount Fuji photo is unbelievable! Almost looks fake. Great to be reunited with the pack.

    Mango Momma

  2. Ah, all is right with the world now that #1 is back home!

  3. Hooray! Welcome home #1! 22 hours sounds like a very long day, it must have been good to get home after that.

The kittens that you visited were so adorable!

  4. Yay, #1 is home! We know you must all be very happy.

The photo of Fujiyama is great! Mom had a teacher in 5th grade who taught her class all about the sacred mountain. It's amazing.

  5. Great pic of Mt.Fuji, that must have been such a cool sight! And reuniting with everyone certainly looks marvellous!

    Happy Monday everyone!

    Hyssing, Virus and Bajas

  6. We are so happy for you that your #1 is back, with presents and she safely flew over that HUGE mountain. Hurrah!!!!

  7. Wow! What an amazing picture of Mount Fuji!

  8. That is a stunning photo! WOW! I am glad she is finally home for you all. Is she staying this time?

  9. What a wonderful picture of Mount Fuji - a bit like Atlanta coming up from the ocean!!
Tama-Chan we see you were celebrating #1's return in your delicious sunbeam while Bibi was changing the sheets for her haha!!
Sei-Chan - as ready as ever to get #1 comfortable in bed!!.
Tommy - be less rough with your frisbees - we hear there could be a world shortage!

  10. Mount Fuji looks like in a painting! Very beautiful! We are so glad your #1 is back home with you. 22h of trevelling are tedious indeed, so make sure that she relaxes properly with the festive days ahead.
    Many purrs!

  11. You all must have been so thrilled when #1 came home! And how fun that she brought home the Matatabi spray (although I suspect it was a little bit of a bribe in case anyone was mad that she was gone). That photo of Mt. Fuji is awesome!

  12. 22 hours travelling? And no kitties to cuddle the whole time? That's just cruel!

  13. Life is Good! We are thrilled you are all together again, and we bet Vidock gets a visit today, too!
Mount Fuji looks like a fairytale, rising above the clouds.

  14. Welcome back #1!! Wow - what a great photo of Mt Fuji to get from a plane! My human went to Japan when she was very little and actually got to go on Mt Fuji (just the bottom part!) - she would love to go back someday!

    Oooh....I LOVE sun puddles too!

    Honey the Great Dane

  15. WOW!!!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Tommy! It would have been SO fun fur woo to be here with Brooklyn and me! Mom says Unkhle Steve gets to have the same fun next weekend as he flies Shanghai to Detroit and then to here!

  16. Hi everyone, I just can't believ you came all the way from France to visit my blog! Did you happen to read my adoption post where I told everyone I was a frenchie kitty too. I was born in Quebec, maybe we could practice our french together?

  17. What an awesome photo of Mount Fuji - especially given that it was taken from the plane!

We know how happy all of you must be to have #1 back home - now sit on her so she doesn't go away for a long time, at least not until after the holidays:)

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
