First of all, I made a new friend! His name is Napel (pronounced Napple) and he is a sheepdog from the Pyrenees. Actually, he normally lives in the Pyrenees but he has come up this way to visit. We went for a great walk in the woods together with our people.
I had never been to those woods before and here was a nice little lake there, so I got my paws wet!
Closer to home, I had some fun times in the big field with my next-door neighbour friend, Damia:
We also had an excellent game of bitey-face when we went over to her house for coffee with #1:
We were even joined at one point by Puce, Damia's older sister. She is a little bit grumpy by nature and not so keen to play.
And the fun continued! Yesterday, I got to go out to a pizza restaurant with #1, Uncle U and Her 'Peiness, Vivi. We are well-known at this place for being extra-well behaved!
Afterwards, we went to garden centre and Vivi and I guarded all the purchases on the way home!
I am increasingly coming to see gardening as a most manly activity. Don't you agree?
Happy Monday everyone!
Hiya Tommy, you are most manly indeed and we agree that gardening is a most manly passtime. Well, we have to say that because we join in with the digging of useful holes (can't quite figure out why the humans don't like them in the middle of the lawn though, we think they are most artistic!) plus we do some pruning on the greenery from time to time - we like to be helpful pups you know! It was fun to see your pals and your game of bitey face - bitey face ROCKS!! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very photogenic woofie, Tommy. We love the photo of you in the little lake. It is very manly indeed :)
ReplyDeleteWe are very happy to hear that the boys are feeling better.
Oh yes. Gardening is quite manly. My master is totally in charge of all the flower beds and does a most manly and artistic job with it.

ReplyDeleteGreat to see you Tommy! It is so wonderful that you have many friends...a benefit to being a dog rather than a cat (if you like that sort of thing).

Tommy,
ReplyDeleteYou're such a social boy! We love seeing your posts.
Mommy says the pizza looks scrumptious, and we see you are indeed a very well manner guy!
Our Daddy is the gardener here, so we concur with it being a manly activity.
You keep you feline brothers calm and help them recuperate with TONS of snuggling.
xx lounge kats
So great to see you, Tommy - and so very manly, of course. We like your new Pyrenees furiend - so beautiful. You had a great weekend with all your pals. You are so lucky to get to go for pizza to a restaurant. That would never happen here.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
You do get around, Tommy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Manly Monday to you, Tommy!
ReplyDeleteTommy, what a great bunch of dogs you hang out with! It looks like you've been keeping very busy in very manly ways. I do agree that gardening is a manly thing. It's also a canine thing, what with our natural digging abilities.
ReplyDeletewags, Lola
Happy Monday Tommy!
ReplyDeleteGrete is going to put her paw down...clearly you are getting your blog time, she wants hers. We girls think gardening is both manly and girlie...it depends on what you plant and how you dig in the dirt.
