Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Welcome to our weekly SoS post, Dear Friends. Sadly, there has not, as yet, been any improvement in the weather, but we remain hopeful that the rain will eventually stop. For now, the temps remain higher than normal for the season and our central heating is still not on. On Monday morning, the chimney sweep is coming to sweep the chimney and, after that, we look forward to some nice fires in our fireplace.

We have a pretty good line-up of snuggle pics this week and I shall start with myself, as is only natural given that I am Queen.

Benny and Ryū both really love lap time with #1 so it can sometimes get crowded around there!

Momo is becoming everyone's cuddle buddy!

Momo-Chan: We had decent weather yesterday, with a few sunpuddles, but it's back to pouring rain again today. So we'll be playing, napping and snuggling! Right, Ryū?

Vidock Vendredi

The Big V: Handsome neighs, EveryFriend! How are you all doing? I've been working less because of all the rain we've had, so have spent more time in the paddock. Today, I want to introduce you to my pal. His name is Jah de Cauville and he is a Cob Normand, the lightest of France's nine breeds of heavy horse. He is only four years old and I see myself as his mentor of sorts. When horses are friends, they often spend time grooming one another, and this is what you will see in today's photos and video.

Thankless Thursday ?

 

Ollie: First of all, our apologies for being so late posting today. #1 has quite a lot of work at the moment and she was so much into a project that she actually forgot! Can you believe that? Also, the weather remains awful. Lots of rain and wind again today. When will it stop? And #1 is coughing and sneezing again. Woe is her!

On the positive side, we are thankful that #1 is home with us and that we are in a nice, dry and warm home! So, here is a nice photo of me taken by Mr. G:

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends! I shall start with the best bit: #1 has returned! She did not get home until 7pm because as she was leaving Normandy, she found several roads blocked due to flooding and so had to take the much longer way around. Mr. G was with us when she got home and helped to unload the car. She did quite a bit of shopping for us to on her way there and her way back! The less good news is that the three very hard days on her feet, in drafty places, revived her cold so she is feeling a little blah. But we shall be taking good care of her!

I'm afraid that's the only one I have for you today, so I thought I would share a nice pic #1 took recently of Monsieur Leroux, the nice cat at Ms. C's, where Violette and Heloise live. He loves cuddles!

Ollie: We are awaiting #1's return. The weather is awful, with heavy rain. She is having lunch with friends and should be back with us before it gets dark.
