Sakura Saturday

#1 here. Many of you will already know that Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese. When my Tommy went to the Bridge in late 2018, I decided to bury him under my late-blooming "Yae-Zakura" cherry tree which produces beautiful bunches of pink blossoms. Da Beebs joined him there in May 2019. This week, the tree is in full bloom, achieving the exact effect I wanted when I put the boys to rest there.

There are also buttercups around the graves.

Gone but never forgotten.

V & H Vendredi

Hotesse: Hello, Nice People! Mama Hotesse here! #1 checked and it has been more than a month since we had a V&H Vendredi post! It had also been three weeks since her last visit when #1 came to see us yesterday. A kind friend drove her, which made it easier for her

We were all very pleased to see her.(and the apples and carrots too!). She brought a new supply of arthritis meds for me and noticed how well I was looking. She took this pic. What do you think?

In just a few weeks, I shall be celebrating my 27th birthday. I am very excited, as is #1!

Here is a nice pic of me with my daughter, Violette:

I guess I didn't do a great job of teaching her manners, as she always tries to get all the treats for herself. But #1 can usually find ways around that! I did tell her off but she never pays her Mama any attention!

The shadows from the tree smade her look all dappled!

Here she is again, looking all sweetness and light:

Rumour has it that that Big V over the way is just as bad about sharing treats. I wonder if it's a V thing? We H girls are more generous!

Here is the Big V, trying to snatch a treat out of #1's hand as she was trying to give it to Heloise:

Just look at him, trying to look all sweet!

It was lovely visiting with all of you again!

Thankful Thursday

Ollie: I am thankful that I can enjoy the outdoors and my toy, as #1 walks around the garden to strengthen her leg.

Tama and Benny: We are thankful for moments of relative peace and companionship.

Woofie Wednesday

Ollie: Woofs, everyone! Ollie here. Now that I am home and #1 is trying to get walking properly again, we are spending time in the garden, so I have some blossom viewing pictures for you.

Here I am with some of our bluebells:

And here with some cherry blossoms!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: It's nice to get back to my regular Tuesday spot after our hiatus last week. As you can imagine, a large part of looking after #1 has been to look cute for her. I am of course an expert at that.

Fear not, I have continued to work on my upward dangles:

Even when the company is a little iffy...

All very exhausting!

Manly Monday

Benny: #1 continus to improve but it's taking longer than she would like so she is feeling quite frustrated. It is our job to keep her calm and focused.

Ollie: Our cherry trees are beginning to bloom. I posed nicely under one of them yesterday.

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends. We are trying to get back to regular posting but everything is still pretty laborious for #1 so it may take a few more days of intermittent presence. Still, we wanted to do an SoS post, especially that we re now reunited, as Ollie came home yesterday evening.

A friend who came by for a visit yesterday took this nice pic of me and #1:

When Ollie came home, #1 took this nice pic of Ms. N with him:

And this one of Mr. G with Benny:

Mr. G then took this one of #1 and Benny!

This was the view on #1's bed this morning:

And one last one of me snuggled up to #1:

Things are slowly getting back to normal.
