Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: My sister Sei-Chan and I have been practicing our synchronised napping:

When we are not sunning on the cat tree by the kitchen window:

You all know by now what kind of reputation #1 has when it comes to  putting things away... So, this is what the guest room is looking like. Her excuse is that she now has two big trips she still needs to process properly rather than just one:

#1 did take this rather nice portrait of me when I was in the cat run the other day:

I think I look a little bit wild...

Last but not least, here is a rare "full house" photo where you can see all four Chans!

We all love to go out in our (now) closed-off porch and explore!

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: What do you think of my salute?

Or does it work better with a dreamy, faraway look like in this one?

Da Genj: Da Beebs may be dreaming of  a military career but I prefer to play with my kickaroo...

Tommy: I am the intrepid woofie, marching through the fields...

And hanging out with my pal, Mad Fernant:

Vidock: I like to hang out with my Uncle E:

But the field is good too:

We also have a couple of manly guest reports today. Remember our little pal Ebène, Violette's brother? Well, he finally left for Germany last week. We wish you a very happy life there:

And our little friend The Traveller now has a new name! Our neighbours, Ms. N and her daughter, Ms. C, have named him Marmite (pronounced Mar-Meet)  He now has the run of their stone shed so he has shelter when the weather is either hot or wet. #1 is continuing to feed him as well. Here is a pic of him outside our garage one morning:

And relaxing on his mattress later that day:

Wishing you all a very good week!

Snuggles on Sunday - The Groove

Tama-Chan: You remember that, last Sunday, I hadn't yet recaptured my snuggling groove and therefore did not have any new photos of myself to post. I am glad to report that things are back to normal, and I have been snuggling with Tommy!

Needless to say, I am not the only one as my sister Sei-Chan has also been snuggling with him:

My boy Beebs continues to snuggle with #1 at every opportunity:

 As does Genji:

#1 had the opportunty to snuggle with the Vs at the exhibition opening. Here she is with Violette:

Not quite a snuggle but a nice photo of #1 with Vidock:

Remember, Everyone, Sunday is for Snuggling!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: The hot weather returned mid-week and we were pretty catatonic there for a day or two. On Thursday, it was so hot that #1 couldn't even muster up the energy to go and see the Vs. Mercifully, it is now a little cooler again.

Even when it's very hot, the downstairs in our house remains cool, and my sister Tama and I sometimes hang out on the cat tree by the open window in the kitchen:

When it's very bright, I sometimes have to scrunch up my eyes:

I did investigate the situation in the cat run. It's as overgrown as ever...

So, it was back to the cat tree in the kitchen:

I was quite pleased with this close-up #1 took:

Oh, and in case you were wondering they're still around!

Wishing you all a Happy SEIturday!

Feline Fun Friday

Da Beebs: OK. So, we have had several days of horsies and woofies. We do love our siblings but I think it is high time for a little feline fun. Do you agree?

So, let's start with a little guessing game. Any guesses on who this might be?

It's Da Me!!!!!

Here is another bit of fun I have discovered recently. I love my #1 and like to stay as close to her as possible. This is a great spot:

Strategic positioning of the hind paw means that you activate all kinds of function keys. And with your tail, you can sweep back and forth across the keyboard as your #1 tries to type...

MEE-YOWWWWWWW!

Tama-Chan: I know he is my son, but I can't be held responsible for everything. My idea of fun is hanging out in the cat run:

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: Woofs, Everyone! It's pretty warm again over here and #1 is curtailing my ball-chasing time somewhat. It's a bummer but I am adapting. You know, I am pretty good at relaxing too!

On balance, though, I do prefer to be running around the fields, sniffing all the good smells:

And occasionally rolling around on the grass:

Overall, though chasing the ball remains best of all!

By the way, several of you were wondering what I had in my mouth in the Manly Monday post. Some even thought it was a candle. In fact, it was several disposable cups! Do you see them better in this one?
