Manly Monday

 

Benny: Meerrrggggheow! I have a new nickname! From today onward you can call me HouBenny! Did you guess why? Over the past week, I managed to get out twice and spent two nights outside! #1 is not at all amused but I had a great time. She says I am grounded for life, but we'll see about that... We do have an enclosed porch and on both occasions, she left a carrier with a warm blankie there, and cracked open the door so I could get in if I was cold or sleepy. But yesterday morning, she found me in a hay-filled basket at the back of the garage. She told me that Trav used to sleep there.

Anymeow, #1 says today is Valentine's Day, so I posed with some hearts for you:

Would you all be my Valentines?

Ollie: #1 made me wear a special bandana!

The Big V: I don't need any accoutrements to be a Valentine, do I?

#1 says there is a song called "My Muddy Valentine." Really?

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: I have now been hosting SoS for more years than I can remember, but I never grow tired of it. It is always so lovely not only to snuggle, but also to share out snuggles. #1 and I took this rather nice snuggle selfie this week:

Souvenir Saturday: 12-Year Rewind!

 

Rainbow Sei: Hello Everyone! We have arranged for a few days of sunshine over at Poupounette Central and I think they are enjoying the sunpuddles! For this week's "rewind" post, we are going back twelve whole years, to 2010, which was the last Year of the Tiger! The main Gang member to be featured in this one is Yuu-Chan who was with us for such a short time, most of it in 2010. But let me start with a shot of myself, snoozing in the window hammock in the study:

That year, we had a lot of snow in January, and Tommy and his Flying Ears had a ball!

Benny: Queen Tama never wants to play with me, but my bro, Ollie, is always ready for a bit of fun! I have discovered how great it is to play bitey face with a woofie!

Ollie is so much bigger than me but he is always gentle!

I am lucky to have such a great brother!

Thankful Thursday With Heloise

 

Heloise: Neeeeiiighs, Everyone! I hope you don't mind two consecutive days of horses on the blog! #1 came to see us yesterday and I had a great lesson with Ms. C. She thinks I am coming along really well.

We met a nice doggie along the way and I stopped to chat with her:

And then we met some nice people who were hiking, and they stopped to admire me.

When we got back, I got a really nice treat bucket before going back into my field. Ms. C and #1 told me that I had been a really good girl, and I'm having another lesson tomorrow. They said I would soon be pulling a carriage! Imagine that!

I am thankful that Ms. C is such a nice teacher!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone, and welcome to Wednesday Whinnies. We have a few exciting days coming up as #1 is coming to see us today and we are getting our hooficures on Friday!

Tama-Chan: As I am now a senior Queen, I often get served my meals in bed:

#1 always tells me that I have the loveliest eyes ever...

And that I glow in sunpuddles!

Of course, even when there are no sunpuddles, I glow when I dangle, especially the gravity-defying feats!
