Well-Done Wednesday

Vidock: Hey Big Tom, isn't it a relief that they got a good clear result over there across the Big Water?

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Our #1 was a little miffed yesterday because our Monday post ended up publishing on Sunday, even though she thought she had clearly scheduled it. Ah well. It's not the end of the world... On the other hand, we are told that the end of the world may be on its way today...

I like to keep up with world affairs and regularly check the BBC website. Our friends across the Pond are having an election today, it would seem. It is not our business to get involved in other countries' affairs, but we do share the dismay of most Europeans at the hatred on display, and at the "Ayatollah" mindset being shown by some, something which would be considered totally unacceptable over here. We have found The Economist to be intelligent in its analysis of the situation, and all we can say at this  stage is may the best candidate win!

Pondering such weighty thoughts requires great concentration...

And serious reflection...

Leading to utter exhaustion!

Manly Monday

Tom: I have, as always, been very busy, accompanying #1 on her excursions and running after my ball in the fields. The weather has been mixed and the fields are pretty soggy, but that has never stopped me. Behold:

I have also been playing with Fernant which, as you know, is always an adventure...

Just look at his labraself trying to extract treats from #1!

Vidock: Neigh everyone! Here I am at the buffet. I do love a good buffet!

And here is an actual full body shot with even a bit of a sunpuddle!

I am told that the next stage of my schooling will be happening soon (weather permitting). I am going to get a driver's licence? What do you mean no, #1? YOU will be driving me? Well, that's different.... Do you know how to drive a me? No? Aaaaaak!

Bibi-Chan: Is this not a seriously mancatly portrait of your truly?

What can I say? There is only one Beebs!

Here I am with Genji, doing some serious supervising in the kitchen:

We did catch a small lizard the other day but #1 managed to get it. Sigh... Well, I shall just have to take it easy and enjoy life instead:

Genji:  I am still working on my fierce look. What do you think?

This one is more pensive, I think...

And here are a couple of very mancatly paws for you!

Have a great week, everyone!

Peace and Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Today is the annual Blog Blast for Peace and we would like to add our voices, purrs, woofs and neighs to those of all our friends in wishing for a gentler world. There is too much ugliness going on everywhere.

We would also like to thank you all for the kind words yesterday. #1 is trying to get a handle on the fallout from some of what has been happening, and we will tell you more about it when we can. In the meantime, we are going to spend this windy and rainy day snuggling.

Here are Sei-Chan and Tommy providing a good example of how to do it right:

How about a SEIndwich snugdle?

And yesterday, we had visitors in the afternoon and shy Sei-Chan unusually snuggled with one of them!

My Beebs has been feeling very snuggly of late and spends every evening tucked in against #1:

Tommy and Genji have been hanging out together a lot, as usual:

And Tommy has also been spending time with my Bibi:

And here is one of #1 with Violette:

Yes, you guessed it, no snuggle pics of me this week, but here is a group one with Tommy and Genji:

And Vidock sends his apologies and hopes his Friday smooch will have made up for it a little.

Finally, we had an exceptionally beautiful evening sky yesterday and wanted to share a couple of pics with al of you.

See the amazing colours in these clouds?

And sunset:

Wishing you all a peaceful, snuggly, warm and cozy Sunday.

Supportive SEIturday

Sei-Chan: My post today will be short and it will be serious as I am busy providing support to #1 who is feeling sad because she has heard a lot of bad news over the past few days. Some sick friends and acquaintances lost their battles, and there are some partings of ways going on among others. We are all just fine, as is our extended human family, but are sad to see the sadness of others, and we may have to make some adjustments ourselves at some stage. It seems that life is harder than anyone would like it to be, and the most important thing is to care for each other. So here are just a couple of shots of me for today:

Stay well, Dear Friends.

Vidock and Violette Vendredi

Vidock: It has been brought to my attention that I have something of an international fan base when it comes to the little pink snip on my nose. Wow! In that case, here, ladies (I imagine you are all Ladies?), is something just for you:

You may kiss!

It's pretty wet again over here, but, as you can see, I am warm and dry, and the supplies of self-serve hay are plentiful!

Yummy!

Oh, and since this is also Family Friday, I thought you might enjoy seeing this nice photo of my Mama, Jessy, and my full sister, Altesse (she is two years old):

Violette: Since I have been inside, #1 has taken the time to come over and groom me fairly regularly. She says I have the nasty habit of rolling in "muck". I ask you, what's wrong with that? Anyway, she comes with a bunch of different brushes, and I must say I do enjoy the massages. Last time around, she took a couple of nice portraits of me too!

This one is pretty cute:

And this one more sultry:

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Tommy Thursday

Tom: After several days of lovely weather, we have woken up to rain today. To be expected, I suppose, as today is a holiday... And by the way, it is indeed All Saint's Day (Toussaint) today and not All Soul's Day as #1 mentioned yesterday.

Anyway, yesterday, we went for a lovely walk in the woods with several of #1's friends and my old friend, Pie. It had been a while since I had been to those woods and I was so happy!

With the strange weather we have had this year, many of the trees are still green and we have almost no autumn colours, although there are a lot of brown leaves fallen onto the forest floor. Pie and I had a wonderful time exploring.

The afternoon light was beautiful:

There were some cool reflections in the pond we passed:

And fun mushroom clumps!

Everything to make a Tommy happy!

I hope we get to go again soon!
