#1 here again. Do you remember the little girl cat who had been abandoned last autumn in one of the fields near our house, whom I fed for a while before she was eventually adopted by my neighbours? Her name is Phoebe and she has settled in so well. I managed to catch a nice portrait of her the other day. She is just the prettiest thing!
Some of you will need to look away for these next photos, but I am thankful that I managed to save this gorgeous little adder from the clutches of three pussycats who thought he made the perfect toy.
Happy last day of April!

all life m-adders, right? double thanks to you for helping the cat girl and the snake...
ReplyDeleteAwww, Phoebe most surely is a beauty, and it's wonderful that she's settled in nicely.
ReplyDeletePhoebe is a beauty and bummer about #1 stealing your icky kitty toy!

PeeEssWoo Hi Ollie - my #1 got about the same reason for the delay - of course I mention frustration and more - but maybe it will end soon!
Phoebe sure is a cutie. I'm glad she has a home now. We have lots of garter snakes in our yard and make sure to keep them safe too.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, Lulu and I found a gopher snake the other day! We were barking at it until Mama made us stop and then it left."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Didn't your run-in with the rattlesnake a few years ago teach you anything, Bean?"
Java Bean: "According to Mama, apparently not ..."
Phoebe is a beauty! And that snake is no toy...good for you for rescuing it.
ReplyDeleteI remember beautiful Phoebe and I'm so glad to hear she has a wonderful life!
ReplyDeleteI’m glad Phoebe has a place now.
ReplyDeleteI like snakes, they should keep vermin away.
