Woofie Wash Wednesday

Ollie: Woofs, everyone! Ollie here! We're still trying to sort out our technical issues but #1 has figured out how to put together this post. A few days ago, #1 kept repeating that I was smelling a little "ripe" and so, when Mr.G and Ms.N came to tea, she thought it was the perfect opportunity to give me a bath. Mr. G's muscle power is needed to haul me into the tub. Once I'm in there, I'm a really good boy and do enjoy the shampoo and warm water shower. We didn't get any photos during the actual washing, but #1 did manage to get a few once she was done and Mr. G was trying to help towel me dry.

Even though he betrayed me by putting me in the tub, I still love Mr. G best of all!

In other news, I also got to meet the woofies who came with our Swiss friends to lunch last Sunday. They stayed in the van as they are not used to cats, but we were all able to run around together in the garden.

This is Isabella. She is a 7-month old Italian Spinone. According to her parents, she is very, very naughty and has been chewing all the furniture. She's very cute, though!

And then there was Rouky. He is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, He is HUGE!

It's always fun to make new friends!

  1. I bet you smell lovely now, Ollie. I hope you didn't do the typical spaniel thing and find the muddiest place to roll afterwards. I grew up with spaniels, Springer and Cocker and know what they can be like. Sally, a cocker I had for my 5th birthday always rushed for the cinder path to roll. It was nice to meet more new friends, Ollie.

  3. Glad you were able to put up this fun post.
Your guest pups look like you and they had a good time romping around. Phooey on the bath, BOL! Whenever MJF had a bath he would go and roll and roll and roll on the carpet, sort of like a torpedo; even though he'd been dried with the hairdryer, already. (on low).

  5. I love my bath and it always leads to more kisses and hugs for me and I hope it does for you too, Ollie. Mom met a Spin puppy at Mackie's puppy class and she instantly loved the breed!

  6. Holly it look like you had a great visit with your new friends. And now that you've had a lovely bath and you're nice and fresh I'm sure that feels good too.
