Woofie Wednesday

 

Ollie: Woofs, Everyone! We've been hearing about the terrible snow in parts of the US and Canada. We hope our friends are safe and warm.

The other day, #1 noticed that I had some matting in the hair around my ears. She had been meaning to attend to this and the perfect opportunity came up when Mr.G and Ms. N came to tea the other day. Perfect in that Mr. G was able to photograph the operation. Even though it's not a very pleasant  experience, #1 said I was good as gold!





I do feel better now that the matting is gone!

    You were very good for #1. When I had a spaniel she used to get mats in her ears too. When I combed them out she would scream as if I was murdering her!

    Mom didn't know about matting behind my ears and when she finally figured it out, she got out the scissors. Combing was impossible. I get combed behind my ears all the time now, Ollie. She learned her lesson!

    Ollie sometimes those snarls just have to be brushed out don't they. You look quite handsome with your ears all nice and curly now.

    We are happy that our furs don't mat, but Mom wishes we wouldn't be so good about sharing the furs wherever we might decide to sit or lie down.

    Mom has cousins on Cape Cod who have been without power since Sunday night with several more days before it is back.
