Momo-Chan: Dear Friends, Woe is US! Remember our electrical issues? Well, they have returned with a vengeance and, as a result, we have no heating or hot water at the moment. Fortunately, we do have some plug-in heaters and so we are not desperate.... yet! Of course, we kitties (and woofies) have furs, which #1 does not, so she's wearing long johns instead. We are hoping that we'll be able to get a plumber out asap so he can fix whatever is causing the heating to short-circuit.
Along with my bro, Benny, we of course still expect our treats to be served up at the appropriate time. Ryū is not very treat-driven. You guessed it. He is too busy!
No heating or hot water is never good, but particularly at this time of the year. I hope #1 can quickly get a plumber to get things working properly again.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that doesn't sound good. Hope #1 can get someone out there soon to get things fixed up. Out here in our stupid neck of the woods, the electric company sent us a notice of a "planned outage" for some maintenance work. With temps in the teens and single digits, who the heck does that?! Thankfully, it was only out for a couple of hours, but still...

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely not good. Winter time even on a mild day is below freezing. Let's hope that stuff gets figured out real quick and that #1 has extra warm wooly long johns.
ReplyDeleteAre we in the 21st century or the 18th? Power outages and similar issues here (USA) seem to take forever to be repaired: hope yours will be a fast and easy fix! Paws together for water and warmth to return ... soon!
