Rainbow Sei: Those of you who kew me whilst I was at Poupounette Central will remember what a mild-mannered little girl I was. #1 used to say that I was scared of my own shadow, and I would certainly never have dreamed of saying boo to a goose. But THIS IS ENOUGH! I, Rainbow Sei, am hopping mad and I am issuing a warning to all of you. Stay where you are! The gates to the Bridge have been locked and you need to stay where you are instead of causing so much sadness to your people. We have enlisted the lovely Hotesse to stand behind the gates and use her one tonne of muscle to prevent anyone from forcing them open.
Why this rant, you may be wondering? We had another commotion yesterday morning and there at the gate stood the gorgeous Alfie Marshall! one off our oldest friends! And this happened just a few days after Ducky arrived. It is just not on. Rainbow Queen Tama has been working overtime to make sure the newbies are received with all the love in the world. They always have that dazed look when they get here. Ducky was just beginning to settle in and now Alfie has arrived! Fortunately, just like Ducky, Alfie has a brother who was already here and who could take him by the paw and guide him. Milo is doing an amazing job, and all of us are there to help.
Alfie's mum, Jan, has shared with us some of her favourite photos.

I am sorry to hear that Alfie has joined you all at the Bridge. The photos of him are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for caring and commemorating Alfie, and remembering Milo too. We miss them both so very much. We're at such a loose end right now ... but comforted by the fact our beloved boys are reunited at the Bridge. Blessings to you all at Poupenette HQ. Kindness never goes out of fashion.
ReplyDeleteThank you again from Jan (Milo and Alfie's mommy.) Xxx

ReplyDeleteWe agree about the Bridge gates being closed. We knew and mourned Ducky but did not know Alfie - he is quite a handsome boy. We send purrayers to his family.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to Alfie's family. It would be nice if there were a way to truly shut those doors for a while.
