Family Friday

Benny: It's been a very wet week and we haven't been up to much. Even Ollie's walks have been curtailed. There's flooding everywhere although thankfully not here. Poupounette Central is up on a hill and runs little risk. Still, the cat run is no fun in this weather and we miss our sunpuddles.  We did get a light dusting of snow a few days ago, but it was gone very quickly.

These days, staying in bed as long as possible is definitely the best option. Here is Momo keeping #1's toes warm waiting for her toes to move so he can pounce on them

Me showing just how long I am:

Ryū secured the best place on the warm radiator!

Waiting for the return of the sun!

  3. Flooding is certainly a terrible thing. We've had rain here all week long but thankfully not enough to cause any bad situations. You all look so warm and snuggly in the house, so stay in and stay dry.

  5. We've forgotten what blue looks like - as our week has been mostly foggy -

PeeEssWoo: Hi Ollie - I don't think I'll get to see Khousin Emmy this week - we'll see Auntie Di but it's too miserable for our furs!

  9. Staying snuggled in bed on a cold day is a good idea. I hope your rain stops soon.

  10. We are getting the same weather here with widespread flooding. We also live on a hill so no danger of flooding. The garden is totally waterlogged though.
It is a good incentive to keep toes still with Momo waiting to pounce!

  11. Yup, even here we have seen flood watches and warnings for rivers that get ice jams, and then just overflowing with the way too much rain we had earlier this week. Our area is also elevated so we don't get floods here, just soggy ground...and the moles and voles are having a heyday making new tunnels and runs. UGH. Then Benji digs them up...our yard sometimes looks like a war zone! But now its all cold and snowy again. The yoyo weather of late winter.
    You all look cozy there.

  13. May the rain slow and the sun peek out quickly. It's not fun to have gray day after gray day.
