V&H Vendredi - The Birthday Week!

 

Hotesse: Wise Neighs, Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. #1 said I should host this week's post because not only did I have a birthday this week, but I am also the doyenne around here.

So, we had three birthdays in a row: My daughter Violette on May 11th, The Big V on May 12th and me on May 13th. #1 came to visit us on the 12th, with carrots, apples and cuddles for all (even my other daughter, Heloise, who got lots when it was her birthday on April 29th).

Here is my birthday shot. I think I look pretty good for a 26-year old dame who has had ten foals!

And here I am, getting my birthday treats from #1:

That nose you see is my daughter, Heloise, trying to butt in. Here is a picture of the two of us:

My big girl Violette was also looking lovely:

And she got her share of treats!

At one point, the buffet got pretty crowded!

But Violette made sure she got her share:

#1 got a laugh yesterday as someone posted a great shot of a famous stallion and when she looked closely, she saw it was Violette's Dad, Navarro, one of my many boyfriends over the years. Do you see a resemblance?

Last but not least, we have the Birthday Boy himself, The Big V. He of course also enjoyed lots of apples and carrots. He and my Violette are both 12 this year. It's amazing how quickly time passes.
