Genji's Thankful Thursday

Genji: Mee-Yow, Everyone! I wanted to say thank you to all of you who purred for me last weekend. I am good again, and eating all my food!

We have had a lot of rain recently. We are not complaining because we had no rain at all for a long, long time. But we do miss the sunpuddles when they go away. Fortunately, #1 is always ready with her camera when they do appear, and I am thankful that I was able to enjoy some nice ones yesterday, and #1 caught me in the act!

Those of you who follow international news may have seen that France has announced a new period of confinement, starting tonight and lasting at least until December 1st. #1 is hoping that she will stil be able to visit the horses. We will find out later today.

  1. Genji, I am happy that you are eating again. That is very important. I am also happy that you have sunbeams to warm your furs. You do look so comfy :)
Paws crossed that #1 can visit the horses!

  3. I am glad that you are feeling better, Genji.
I did hear yesterday that France was going into confinement again. At least you know where you are with it being nationwide. Here parts are under lock down and others are not, so people are still travelling and spreading it. If only more people had been careful when restrictions were lifted! Cases are rising fast in Plymouth too. I think we will soon go from tier 1 to tier 2.

  4. Our pandemic numbers have shot up too; it's so very scary. Our temps are cool, and there are clouds today, so all the cats are curled up and napping!

  6. We're glad to hear you are feeling better, Genji. Lockdowns are no fun but neither is getting sick so we hope France can recover quickly from the surge in Covid cases.

  7. Yeah we had one really nice sunny day and now back to clouds. Very few official restrictions here. Mum puts the restrictions on herself to stay healthy.

  9. We too are thankful that you are feeling better, Genji. Timber has had another bout of upset tummy - Mom thinks this may be chronic:( We heard about the restrictions and we hope that #1 will be able to get to the horses. We were also so saddened by the news of the attacks in the church in Nice.

  11. Well, being confined is better than the super spreader events that a certain "thing" that's campaigning is doing!
