Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: I am sad to report that Ollie has not yet returned. #1 simply is not yet feeling up to managing his energy levels, and so he will be at Ms. C's for a bit longer.

Genji and I have continued to provide #1 with top-level nursing care. She is feeling frustrated at the slowness of her recovery, even though the physio keeps telling her she is doing really well, so she needs us more than ever.

Here we are yesterday afternoon, me right up against her and Genji on her lap:

Here I am, giving #1 a bit of a massage:

And then snuggling with her:

Genji, as you can imagine, also does a lot of snuggling:

And he also snuggles with visitors, here with our friend Ms. L who visited and brought cake!

  1. #1 must be feeling MUCH better, if she is getting frustrated! That's actually a good sign, MOL! I hope she is up to having Ollie back soon.

  4. Progress is never as fast as you want it to be even though #1 is doing very well.
I know you both will take very good care of her and continue with your purr therapy and massages.

  6. We bet Ollie is having fun at Ms. C's but will also be happy to be home some day. It's better to be safe than to undo all that physio work. #1 is lucky to have you kitties to give her massages and comfort. We are keeping our paws crossed for #1's continued recovery.

  8. Doing good you two. Mum has kept saying she will move my litter box back to the dungeon, then decides she doesn't want to do the stairs so often. At least not yet.

Better to wait for Ollie as you wouldn't want to risk #1 hurting something while she is getting better.

  11. #1 is lucky to have both of you taking good care of her. Knee surgery can be tough and #1 needs to be patient. She will get there! Purrs....
