Wednesday Whinnies

Vidock: Handsome Neighs, EveryFriend. I promised you that I would reveal all about what happened to us last week today, and here I am! I know you too will be horrified to hear that we both had to see the.... DENTIST!!!

I asked #1 whether it would hurt and she promised me it would be OK...

I didn't really believe her and I was right, because this happened!

Just look at them! Ms. C and the dentist, Mr. G, chatting happily as though I wasn't right there in front of them, suffering!

Violette: Honestly, he is a bit of a crybaby, don't you think? Well, he had seen the dentist 18 months ago but I had not seen him in almost 3 years It was when I was still at the other place and very bad-tempered, and I charged anyone who came into the field (blush). So, he said I really needed his services. By the way, horses don't get cavities, but our teeth continue to grow and if they are not "floated" it can make it hard for us to eat. Mr. G said that clearly was not the case for me. I suspect he was being rude.

I was a very good girl and didn't fidget and dance about like some V I know.

And afterwards, we were both ptu briefly in boxes until we could be returned to our field.

So that's all done for another year, thank goodness!

  4. Horsey dentists sure do funny things with you two. We think you have it a little better though because for us doggies (and kitties) have to be knocked out to get our teeth done.

  8. That does not sound like fun at all! Can you believe my human prefers going to the dentist over going to the doctor? She's a little bit nuts.

  9. Hmmm, floating teeth sounds very curious to us. But we are glad your visits went well, and now you can get back to eating:)

  10. Violette! No! You did NOT charge everyone who came to the field! I cannot credit this! And I remember when we first knew you. I don't remember #1 saying that about you. Perhaps she was protecting your reputation?
