Tommy: Sorry we are a little late in posting today. #1 got back exhausted yesterday evening (there will be some photos of the "do" on Wednesday Whinnies) and then she discovered that the front door lock had given up the ghost. Fortunately, she had the key to our back door on her. But I had to spend the night at Fernant's on Saturday as the neighbours didn't have that key! We have a locksmith coming today!
Da Boys: #1 brought some fresh mare's milk back with her. It was very yummy to drink!
Vidock: I have distant memories of very yummy mare's milk! Ms. C rode me the other day! It had been a while since I was ridden.
OMC, mare's milk?! That sounds so exotic and awesome! I've never had that!
ReplyDeleteAwww. Yummy milk. Chevalait is a brilliant name for mares milk!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, fresh milk. I'd like to try some, please.
ReplyDeleteIt was lucky that #1 had the back door key and could get in. It looks like you were enjoying the mare's milk. It is more easily digestible than cows milk so unlikely to cause upset tummies. Vidock looks very handsome being ridden and stands very proud.
ReplyDelete#1, the same thing happened to us, however it stopped LOCKING, even though we thought it did! The day The Hubby leaned against the 'locked' front door and it swung open...oh my! It had probably been like that for a long while.
ReplyDeletePoor #1. At least the problem occurred at the end of her adventure and not at the start.
ReplyDeleteVidock is sooo handsome!
I sure am glad #1 was able to get in the house. Dang, I'll bet that milk is good!
ReplyDeleteNo fun if you get locked out of the house. Glad #1 will get it sorted out quickly.
ReplyDeleteYou boys look great today. We're glad #1 was able to get into the house.
ReplyDeleteWe hope Fernant wasn't too wild all night for you, Tommy:) And we bet that mare's milk was quite tasty.
