Wednesday Whinnies with Vidock

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend. I promised you more details of my check-up visit, so here I am. But first, I would like to thank all those who left such kind messages following my update on Monday. I was very touched!

We left before 9am on Monday morning for the 2-hour drive to the equine hospital. Mr. JP was nice and let me have some sweet grass on my way to the horse trailer:

It was all business when we got there.

I'm all good, right Dr.Veterinarian?

What? No! NO! What is that thing around my nose? And that thing up my nostril?

And what was the vet doing? She was playing with her phone and watching movies!

She explained to #1 that she was looking for something very particular, and this was it:

That, Dear Friends, is the image that showed that the flap on my larynx that had been tied back was perfectly in place and that everything had healed beautifully!

I was liberated and the vet saw me on my way, telling #1 that I should be all good (I knew that!).

It was so good to be back home!

  1. That did not look like a fun check up, Vidock! I'm glad you're healed up because I bet you don't want to have to go through that again.

  2. That's good news Vidock !
Anyhow, the check up procedure was impressive. Thanks for sharing,
    Purrs for 100 %

  3. Gee, your Vet visit looks way more scary than our Vet visits :o
We are super happy that the end result was that you are A-OK!!
Bet you are glad it is all over and you are home :)
    Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ

  4. Hokey smokes, Vidock! What monstrosities you were subjected to by that veterinarian! But you are fit as a fiddle, as they say, and that's fantastic! Looking good, Vidock.

  5. YAY for the good news, although we don't think we would appreciate cameras up our snooters either.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  6. You are a movie star Vidock!

  7. That is excellent news Vidock! Of course that probably means you will be going back to work on your training. No more vacation for you.

  8. Hurrah! Hurrah, dear Vidock. Prayers and purrs answered. Our beautiful boy is well! Our mum has a question: was there anything at all the could have caused this to develop or is it just something that happens? You are such a wonderful boy. We hope this is the end of your problem forever. Kisses and hugs from all of us.

  9. Yay! Glad the Dr Vet liked the pictures. Sorry you had to tube up your nose again.

  10. Yay ! Pawsome news, Vidock ! We're so glad you're OK ! That checkup doesn't look like fun, you were so brave to go through this without showing them your inner wild stallion ! Purrs

  11. I am glad the vet liked what she saw. It is worth putting up with the twitch for good news!
