#1 here, coming to you from the New Forest, in England. I am here for the annual New Forest Beer Run heavy horse competition organised by the British Heavy Horse Driving Trials Club, and thought I would share a few photos from today's relay race.
I also got to meet this gorgeous Sibe girl:
Her name is Skye, and she was rescued from some awful drug den in London by very nice people who absolutely adore her. She is the sweetest girl!
My human loves looking at the heavy horses - they are so powerful! Skye looks so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Skye found a good home! and oh how I wish to be there with you... I would love to visit a horse event...
ReplyDeleteSeeing those heavy horses run must have been quite exciting! Bet the earth shook ;)
ReplyDeleteSkye is very pretty. Glad she has a good home.

That event looks like a lot of fun. I have never heard of it but will put a note in my diary to look out for it next year. The New Forest is only about 140 miles from us so would make an enjoyable break.
ReplyDeleteI am glad the was rescued and is now in a loving home.
I hope you were able to sample some of the beer that the horses were trying so hard to deliver quickly! Think I've fallen in love with Skye too!
ReplyDeletebig horses and cute dogs - a good day!!

ReplyDeleteSkye is a quite a elegant, lovely dog. Hopefully , her life will be full of nothing but love and happiness from now on.
Oh, those heavy horses are just incredibly magnificent!!! Just so handsome. And Ms. Skye could be a long lost cousin to Mr. Lightning:)

That looks like a fun event to see. We have a pleasure driving competition here (the biggest in the USA) and it is always great to see.
