Tommy: Woofs Everyone! I have been enjoying the past few days, with #1 around and our usual walks in the fields. On Tuesday, when The Big V went for his splash in the river, I went along too! #1 says that if that had been my sisters, they would all have been in the water, but I am not much of a bather. I preferred to sit on the bridge with the view!
I had a ball with me to start with, but #1 took it as she thought it would roll over the edge.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you! Last weekend, we went to an event and there I met another Springer Spaniel. They are quite rare in France so it was a surprise to meet one who wasn't a family member. His name is Paul and he is a youngster at three years old:
Otherwise, I just have a couple of pictures of me in my field to share with you:
Wishing you all a good month of September!
Tommy, you do get around! But I'm with you - I'm not much of a water nymph myself.
ReplyDeleteWe all agree sitting on the bridge is much better than getting in the water. Mommy was very surprised when Fenris showed no desire to get in the pond, her Border Sir Lass loved swimming.
ReplyDeletewe think staying dry is the right way to go :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes Tommy, I sure wouldn't want to sit in the water.
ReplyDeleteHow nice you got to meet another Springer Spaniel doggie!
ReplyDeleteLove your smile as always :-) Have a great day!
Bet you had a good swim
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Lily & Edward
Paul sure is a funny name for a dog! Don't you think so, Tommy? Anypaw, he looks like a nice little fellow. I'm so happy for you Tommy! You get to go everywhere, play ball in the field, meet new friends, and be the #1 companion. I'm very fond of you! Hope you and the rest of the clan have a terrific, Tommy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteWe are a lot like you, Tommy. We don't like water much either, unless it involves some mud:)
ReplyDeletePaul is a handsome boy, but you are by far the most handsome ever!!!
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
You have such wonderful adventures.
ReplyDeleteTommy, sure looks like you are having a great time. I am a little surprised you don't like the water, but that is all right. Nothing wrong with that. Glad you met another buddy. You all have a good evening.
ReplyDeleteWe always love to see you playing in the fields, Tommy.
ReplyDeleteWhilst Mom was fetching more khoffee this morning, I took over The ThinkPad - I just had to visit and khomment - that job thing of hers deprives me of the chance to read many of The Blogs any more -
ReplyDeleteWOW - what a pawesome day -
