Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! It has been a quiet week here for us Vs, after all the excitement of the previous week. We have had some lovely days, and been enjoying grazing in our still green pastures.
#1 got this rather nice pic of me with two of my Arab mare friends. It is interesting because legend has it that the Percheron horse was created many centuries ago by crossing Arab stallions brought back from the crusades with local heavy mares. So, some of the same blood runs through our veins and I think it shows. What do you think?
And here are a couple more nice shots of just me in the field:
And here is one of me coming right over to #1. When she stops the car, gets out and calls my name, my head immediately shoots up and I neigh to her!
Vidock: I like to play peek-a-boo with #1. I am often in my shelter, munching on my bale of hay, when she comes. But as soon as she arrives and calls me, my head pokes around the corner and I go right over to her!
As you can see from this photo, I really enjoy my carrots and apples!
Like all serious athletes, I have a workout regimen which I follow every day. Sometimes, #1 is lucky enough to be there when I do my canter around the field.
But when she's there, I mostly like to hang with her, so she can admire my handsomeness and give me cuddles.
Vidock, we can see that you have the same blood and made it better ;)
