Wednesday Whinnies

Vidock: Boy, do we have a lot to tell you about today! We have both had a great adventure! On Monday morning, Uncle E came to the place where we live. It had been quite a while since I had seen Uncle E and I was really happy! He put my headcollar on…

And I saw the trailer was waiting for me!

Next thing I knew, I was back in my birth home! Neighs, GrandMama!

And then, on Tuesday morning, this guy showed up!

#1 said that he is one of the most famous veterinary osteopaths in France, and there to give us a tune-up!

He manipulated me in a myriad different ways!

And it felt really good!

And now I am back in my field. I have more fun photos to show you but I'll do that another day.

Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! I too got put in the trailer and carted off:

And I met some old friends (I did start by telling them I was now Queen of All the World, and they understood, as you can see).

Now I have to tell you a story about the Man with the Magical Hands. About two and a half years ago, not long after I became a member of the Poupounette Gang, I got pretty sick. The first vet who was called out  turned out to be an idiot and I got worse, so Ms. S called out Mr. SuperVet who saved my life and made me all better. And this was the same guy! I was so happy to see him, and be able to show him what a fabulous mare I have become. The problem I had had was with my lungs and this time, he said I had really healthy lungs!

#1 held me as he worked so I wouldn't be afraid:

And now I too am back in my regular field. I should mention one more thing. On Monday, the weather was really, really stinky with heavy rain and high wind, and I must say that both the Big V and I were really happy to get to sleep in dry boxes with lots of soft straw for once! Now the weather has improved, so we are fine being outside again, and we do have shelters. But we both feel as though we are back from a wonderful spa retreat! Thank you, Mr. E and Ms. S, for coming to get us and bringing us back, and Thank You also, Dr. F!

  9. All we can say is that you two are just as fortunate as Tommy and the kitties to have #1 there to take such good care of all of you.
