Tama-Chan: Yesterday was a holiday here (and we thought you might be interested to know that the French do not ever call it "Bastille Day." It's just July 14th!) and this morning, #1 is starting her new part-time job (only two half-days a week so no need to panic yet), so we are feeling just a bit discombobulated.
Still… the weather was fine yesterday for the first time in a long time and we all enjoyed being out in the run:
By the way, did we ever mention that we have a really beautiful rosebush inside our cat run? It's an old type rose called "Pierre de Ronsard." Here is what the flowers look like:
In other news, we are great believers in togetherness here, so when #1 chooses to have her supper on a tray in front of the TV, we do like to keep her company:
Genji was trying to shove Fernant out of the way. Tommy was on his sofa. He never, ever begs for food. Can you believe that? Sei-Chan is trying to look all casual but I had my eyes firmly set on the ham…
I hope #1 doesn't dawdle on her way home...
So nice to be out after rain :)
ReplyDeleteWe hope you got a bit of that ham!
Mom thinks that rose is pretty.

When the humans have dinner at the dining room table (it only happens occasionally), the scene that ensues looks a lot like photo #5!

The part time sounds like a good gig. We hope she enjoys it. We are also looking forward to seeing her photos of the Pancherons that she is showing at the gallery. She sounds pretty busy. It's avoid thing you guys take care of her very well.

We love that dinner time gathering and we hope y'all are able to get combobulated soon!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! Everyone calls it Bastille Day but the French! You know, a family eats together!
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone was polite and did not snatch any food off #1's plate without being given permission!
