Friends on Friday

Greetings! #1 here, hijacking today's post. It has been a week and a day since I arrived here  and I am feeling quite desolate without all of my trusted companions by my side. As you can imagine, life without furries is really not an option and, thankfully, I have friends here who are willing to share!

I am spending a lot of time with Murphy and Leo, two Springers you may remember from my posts last summer.

Here is Leo:

He even came through with some flying ears!

And here is Murphy:

The toys came from France and, as I sit at my friend's kitchen table, using her Wi-Fi, this is the scene I see most:

It's hard to resist such invitations!

In case you were wondering, there is also pussycat time. Here is Bitz who is a grand old lady and as cute as her name:

And this is Ian who, at 20lb, is a big boy!

Last but not least is a somewhat blurry photo of Maddie. She is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and never stands still! She has "the cone" on because she had to have a toe amputated and she is as bad, if not worse, than Tommy when it comes to wound access:

This weekend, I am going up the west end of the Island and hope to visit a Percheron breeder there so there may be some horsie pics to include next week!

  1. Looks like you're able to get a fabulous furry fix while you're away from your own babies. Have a lovely time!

  2. At least you have furry company around you, it would be so much worse if you didn't!
I love Springers, my sister-in-law has 2, Max and Molly, they are so playful and fun!
    The kitties are adorable!
You will be home soon so no worries!

  3. Great pictures of Leo and Murphy - what a shame Tom wasn't there to join in too. Ian is surely a heavyweight mancat and Bitz looks a lovely older lady.

  13. Hi #1! We're so glad you got to spend some time with some furries so you don't go through withdrawal. And what fine furries they all are!
