Hello Everyone! It's #1 again and it is beginning to look like Friday may be my day whilst I am here in Prince Edwards Island, Canada. The news from home is excellent. I just got a bunch of photos of the Gang taken by Ms. L who went to visit them, and Ms. N has promised me photos of the Vs too, so please continue to visit us!
In the meantime, I met the most adorable cat whilst on an escapade to the Western tip of PEI a few days ago. His name is Griffin:
Griffin looks for all the world like a Turkish Van. He was a rescue kitty, found in a ditch. He is now the resident greeter at the B&B I stayed at in a place called Tignish.
The two springer spaniels, Leo and Murphy, remain a big part of my days here. I think Leo has quite adopted me! Here is the scene at my feet as I sit at the kitchen table to work on my Mac:
Of course, being Springers, they live to play!
I even got to meet some Percherons last weekend, and will be meeting more, in Nova Scotia, at the end of next week!
I really miss having furries at home, though! Right now, my companionship at the cottage is mainly Avian. I have some rather handsome crows. Here is one fellow posing in the rain:
And of course, given my location, I have lots of great blue herons that fish in the bay when the tide is low. Here is the view from my deck:
Sei-Chan wil be back tomorrow, on schedule for SEIturday!
Griffin is a beautiful cat! And Leo and Murphy remind us of Tom!
ReplyDeleteWe bet Leo and Murphy remind you so much of Tommy. We think Griffin is very handsome mancat.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Griffin looks like he has eyebrows!! Looks like you are getting some love while away #1
ReplyDeleteLove Griffin's eyebrows! I think dogs know when someone really likes their breed - they tend to gravitate to those people!
ReplyDeleteSam
Griffin you are delectable! As are the Springers! Have you named the crows? We have one who comes around whom we've named Alice.
ReplyDeleteOur LP has been to Tignish and to Nova Scotia. Lucky #1 :)
the critters in the cottage xo
Griffin looks like he has eyebrows! So cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful kitty. Thank God for happy endings like his. We're glad you have some animal companionship. They really do enrich our lives, like the old saying goes.
ReplyDeleteWishing you fine weather, fine friends ( both four and two footed) and fine food fort the remainder of your holiday.
Il est majestueux et imposant ce chat.
ReplyDeleteCet endroit semble calme, serein. J'ai toujours trouvé "l'eau" apaisante.
Bonne continuation
Natacha
When my human is out of town, the first thing she does is go searching for a kitty fix! Sounds like you've found lots of critters to befriend.
ReplyDeleteHi #1,
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! It looks like you are having a wonderful time and that you have great company for it! Leo must be trying very hard to help you with your Tommy "missings". Looks like he is doing a great job!
Griffin is so beautiful! I am glad for him to have be so happy now.
Thanks for bringing us along with you on your time away!

Griffin is beautiful! How wonderful that the B&B has its own kitty, too.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are having a great time! I"m glad that you have Springers to keep you smiling, as long as Tommy doesn't get jealous :)
