SEIturday Sunshine

Sei-Chan: I can't believe it's already SEIturday and that, one week from now, #1 will be gone. How am I going to survive without her for four whole weeks? Still, I had better enjoy her whilst she's here!

The weather has been quite lovely. Perfect summer weather with sunny days that have been warm without being torrid. People have been busy getting in hay and harvests simultaneously. There is going to be a really bumper crop of hay this year, so Vidock and Violette will have lots of sweet hay to eat next winter!

I have continued to enjoy my perch on the new cat tree. It is by an open window so absolutely perfect!

One of the funnest things about warm weather is that it brings out the lizards in droves and makes for a lot of fun viewing!

Of course, I still enjoy napping on the bed in the guest bedroom, especially if #1 has been kind enough to leave some clothes there:

And there are always Tommy's beds, for a bit of variety:

We're planning to have a quiet weekend. #1 has to finish some work and get the house into better order, as well as start to think about packing. We're just going to hang out with her and enjoy the sunpuddles. Happy SEIturday everyone!

PS: By the way, Bibi and Genji are finalists in the Cat Olympics Smackdown competition but so far have no votes as we haven't run much of a campaign (sorry, boys!). So, if you have a vote to spare and would like to vote for them, you can do so here. The poll box is on the top right and works just fine! This is the photo we submitted:

  9. Isn't laying on CLEAN laundry on the bed just the best?!? Every bit of human clothing needs some furs!!

  10. We never get to lie on the beds here, but if Mom happens to drop some clothing, we do enjoy lying on it too.

And how we wish we had some cool lizards like that to watch here:)

We voted for the boys, looks like you are doing pretty well. Good luck.

  13. We don't get lizards here, but the sun has brought out the lovely crunchy grasshoppers. We have had a very wet summer so good quality hay will be very scarce here. This year is the first year that our Humans haven't made their own hay. Our dad sold his equipment at the end of last season.
