Tom: Hi everyone Tommy here. I am going in to have my stitches removed late morning. #1 is a little concerned, though, as I have been a little limpy on that foot since last night. No idea what's going on, but at least we're heading to the vet's. Dr. C is on holiday at the moment, but she chose her replacement so we have full trust in her. We will update the blog when we get back. In the meantime, here is a pic of me #1 took yesterday:
Update from #1: We are back from the vet's. The stitches are out and she thought that the renewed limping was probably due to growing discomfort with the bandage, and that there will probably be more of it as Tommy's foot is now naked and has lost some tone over the past two plus weeks. He got an antibiotic shot and is back on Rimadyl for a few days. He is also supposed to stay quiet through the weekend. She says he should be virtually back to normal by Monday. All paws crossed. Here is the paw for your perusal
What a *SIGH!* handsome pikh!
