Thankful(ish) Thursday

 

Ollie: I am NOT thankful that #1 is sick, but I am thankful that she has been able to stay home so we can take care of her.

I am thankful that I have been able to run around in our neighbours' very big garden this week!

And #1 says she is thankful for yesterday evening's beautiful sunset:

#1 here. I wasn't kidding when I mentioned that Ryū-Chan's arrival has really brought Momo out of his shell. Needless to say, this includes teaching him every way possible way to be naughty!

Momo: Now look closely. You start by putting your paw like this

And then you push down. Are you paying attention to me?

Ryū: Yes, but what's this pole that's hanging down?

Benny: See? I warned you. Now she's rolled the blind up.

Momo and Ryū: Yes, but there are a lot more ways to play!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends! This will be a shortish post as #1 is feeling a little under the weather. She is not sure if it's just a bad cold or the dreaded plague so will get a test done tomorrow morning at her pharmacy. In the interim, we are all looking after her with plentiful purr therapy. 

As you know, that sweet fluff puff Momo has taken to hanging around me a lot more, which is nice:

And in the evenings, I often find myself with both Momo and little Ryū napping just above me:

This is not the best photo but #1 wanted to take advantage of one of the rare sunpuddles we've had over the last few days.

And that's all I've got for you today. We've had lots of rain and lots of wind, but not as badly as our friends across the Channel. Our neighbours have gone on holiday to Portugal and Ollie has been enjoying romping around their garden as #1 collects raspberries and feeds their kitty, Shana. We'll try to get a photo of her.

Update: #1's covid test came back negative, so it is just a nasty cold.

Manly Monday

 

Momo-Chan: Soft Meows, Friends! #1 said that as I am coming out of my shell more and more, I should host today's post. She thinks the best thing for me was the arrival of my little brother, Ryū, and I agree with her.

I'll start with a couple of shots of me. As you can see, I am even beginning to help #1 with her work!

Benny: Here are a couple of me. I am sorry I keep chasing Queen Tama, #1. I can't help it. And when I chase Baby Ryū, he growls and hisses something fierce. Is it something to do with being Abyssinians, do you think?

Ryū-Chan: I like to hang out with Queen Tama! She's nice!

Ollie: I vote for peace on earth!

The Big V sent us this shot of himself all ready to go to work. Don't you think he's looking rather smart?

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends and welcome back to SoS. We return to regular programming this week after the special Benny/Ollie edition last Sunday. So, without further ado, I shall kick off with a couple of me and #1:

Shy boy Momo hasn't been much of a snuggler with #1 until now but he is beginning to come around, to #1's great joy:

And he generally joins the gang on #1's bed first thing in the morning and during the day on the sofai:

He loves to snuggle with Baby Ryū-Chan:

He and Benny, as well as Ollie,  were hanging out with #1 on the bed when she took a little afternoon nap:

Benny was pleased with his birthday celebrations and told #1 how happy he was.

Sadly, we have no snuggle pics with the horses today. We'll try to do better next time!

We know there have been some very sad losses in the Blogosphere lately. We are sad for all the families, but I have to tell you that Brian got the most amazing welcome! There were so many of us crowding around him that someone had to call security! And we also welcomed the lovely lady who goes by TKS (aka Sage). She is a real sweetheart! Rest assured that each and every new arrival is met with open paws by all of us here.

Friday Fun - Happy Birthday Benny!

 

Benny: Hi everyone and welcome to my birthday post. We don't know the exact day in October on which I was born so #1 chose the 20th as my official birthday. Today is my third birthday! I m so lucky to be living in at Poupounette Central! I have the best kitty bros in Momo and Ryū, a Queen Tama who keeps us all in line, and the best woofie ever in Ollie. And of course #1! I am a black kitty with a charmed life!
