Thankful Thursday!

Tommy: #1 is back. She came home a little later than initially planned as her train was delayed. Apparently, a train had broken down in the Channel Tunnel and it took some time to get it out and get traffic flowing again. Anyway, she was home at around 5pm and we were all ecstatic to see her!

As usual, her car was full of goodies for us. As she unpacked and put everything on the dining room table, Tama and Da Beebs supervised:

Here is the final stash!

As for me, I was just chilling and basking in the joy of having #1 home:

Wondering if I should Worry on Wednesday...

HouBiBi here. #1 gets back today. Do you think she's going to be mad at me? Like no ear rubs kind of mad????

I really hope not. I could use some ear rubs and a little toe massage after my adventures...

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: As you know that Beebsy boy of mine managed to get out yesterday morning and, as of this writing, he has not yet come home although he was seen in the garden this morning. We are all worried sick about him about him, most especially #1 who is so far away and feels totally helpless. COME HOME, BEEBS!

UPDATE: DA BEEBS IS HOME. He apparently ran in when the sitter opened the door to go out and try and catch him

I am eagerly awaiting #1's return tomorrow.

Manly Monday

Tommy: #1 is half way through her stay in England. She has been having a very busy time. Mr. A and Ms. J have been sending her regular updates about us, as well as looking after us very well. As you can imagine, we can't wait for her to be back on Wednesday afternoon! In the interim, here are a few photos of us:

Oh, and #1 sent us this photo of a very handsome Black Angus bull she met over the weekend. She says he is a real gent!

STOP PRESS: We have a HOUBIBI alert. The little devil managed to get out despite the sitters' best efforts and they are desperately trying to lure him back in. May we ask for crossed paws and good vibes that he comes home safely? After what happened to Trav last week, we can't bear the thought of another catastrophe.

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Did you hear how I honoured #1 by being on her bed when she woke up the other morning? She said it was one of the nicest things ever!

I am on the right in the above picture, with Beebs on the left and Sei-Chan nearside. And here is Sei-Chan having a up-close snuggle with #1:

Here is Genji, Mr. Cuddles himself, with #1...

And here he is again, cuddled up with #1 on the sofa. It was a cool evening and she brought out a throw.

Don't ask me why but my Beebs likes to do hair... human hair!

And after a bit of a drought, we have V snuggle pics this week! Let us start with Big V, Vidock:

And with Miss Violette!

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, here is one of Genji with Mr. A that #1 snapped just before she left!

Some things never change...

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: Well, #1 has gone and we are being looked after quite adequately by Mr. A and Ms. J, but we miss our #!!

It has been a sad week for us with the loss of our feral bro, Da Trav. I know that Beebs hated him but we are glad that he had a place to call home. We know how fortunate we all are.

After last week's bonanza, I don't have much in the way of new photos for you. Here, I am on the upstairs landing, digging into the carpet (hehehe...). By the way, #1 did trim my nails just before she left, after I got them caught in something and was stuck. It was embarrassing.

In my favourite lair in the study:

And that's it from me for today. But do come and see us tomorrow, though, as we have an excellent SoS post planned!

Viodck and Violette Vendredi

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! I have started preparing for my big show on August 15th. I am going to do a number of things at that show, but the most challenging will be a dressage "pas de deux" with my Lusitanian pal, Renzao. Mr. JP will be riding me as usual, and young Mr. V (who rode Violette at the medieval festival) will be riding Renzao.

Those who know a bit about riding will see that I am cantering on the wrong leg...

But I'm still the handsomest dude around!

When I posted photos on Monday, several of you commented on how big I was. Now take a close look at my feet next to Renzao's!

Violette: Have you missed me, Dear Friends? When it's warm and there are lots of flies, the only place to be is inside the shelter:

#1 tells me she has been seeing my Mama, Hôtesse, each and every day! That is more often than I see her! I am a little bit jealous... Here is my Mama in her field:

In other news, being a lady of leisure, I do what ladies of leisure do, so I got my nails done on Wednesday.

In the same way as people get a coffee or tea at a salon, I get my Himalayan salt lick:

It's a pretty tedious process, but that's the price of having lovely feet...

We would like to thank everyone warmly for the lovely comments about Trav on this blog but also on The Poupounette Facebook page, and on the "Bob The Big Issue Cat" Facebook page. He was such a brave boy and we at Poupounette Central were honoured to have him as one of us, even for the short period it ended up being.
