SEIturday

Sei-Chan: It's SUNNY, Dear Friends! The world around us has totally changed in a few days as the sun has come out and with it the spring flowers. #1 is rather pleased with the drying mud, and she has even managed to brush Miss Violette almost clean!

I actually ventured out into the run:

Sat by the window soaking up the sun:

But never slacking in my supervisory duties:

Well, almost never...

By the way, I think I'm getting pretty good at the dangle:

And I hung out a bit with that Bibi-Boy over dinner:

Here is wishing you all a great SEIturday!

Friday Frolics!

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Spring is here. It is sunny and warm and just wonderful outside! #1 told me she was going to come over today and give me a really thorough grooming. I am sure it will feel so good! In the meantime, here is a photo of me taken yesterday:

With the wonderful weather, all of the Chans are getting to go out and have fun in the run. Yesterday, Tama-Chan enjoyed her first outside hammock furtanning session!

Sei-Chan explored:

Da Beebs whiffed the spring air:

And Da Genj stuck his tongue out at winter!

Tommy glowed in the sun:

As did my Mama and my little brother (who both clearly also needed a good scratch!):

It's supposed to stay like this for several days and we are planning on enjoying every minute. It's still cold at night, though, and yesterday morning, it was very frosty when Tommy and Fernant first went out:

Thankful Thursday - The Song of the Traveller

I have no name. I am a traveller. I don't know how old I am. I somehow made it through the winter and, one day, not long ago, I walked down a lane. At the end of the lane was a hangar, with a roof, and there was an old car with a mattress on top. I had somewhere dry and comfortable to rest. There were a couple of outdoor cats but they were nice and didn't bother me. Then I explored a little and I found a garage that always seems to be open. At the back of the garage, where it is most sheltered, there is a comfortable chair with an old blanket on it:

It may not look like much to most of you, but to me, it's like a 5-star hotel. And then, look what appeared:

Can you believe it? It is the yummiest food ever! I get two kinds, the dry kind and the kind with lots of sauce! And it gets served to me twice a day! And the lady said the bowl was just for me.

I had an ouchy eye:

That picture was taken a few days ago. I could barely open it then. In the picture below, you can see it's beginning to look better. That was taken this morning.

I am very shy and nobody can get close to me for now, and the lady with the curly hair tells me (from a distance) that she is worried about me. But she says the most important thing for now is that I have food and shelter. I am thankful for these things. Very thankful.

Woofie Wednesday

Tommy: Woofs Everyone! Well, Camp Tommy continues and so far so good. The weather has been pretty yucky so every time we go out to play I come back incredibly muddy. Not so much for the "Tank" (Fernant...) because his hair is much shorter plus he, ahem..., exerts himself rather less than I do. But here are some pics of us at play:

Fernant specialises in making funny faces:

And stealing my ball at every opportunity:

#1 has to retrieve it from between the jaws of doom. Because, I want to play!

It's supposed to be iffy (and cool) again today but from Thursday, we are apparently getting a good long period of sunshine. Paws crossed it's true. We would all like to dry out!

Important PS: As we frolic in our fields, we realise that not everyone is so lucky. Our friend Honey P Sunshine has been battling the Evil C and has just completed some very expensive treatments including chemotherapy. She and her Mommie have set up a page for anyone who might have it in their hearts to help them a little with the costs. It is here.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Dear Friends, I found a delightful new spot to take it easy in:

Of course, it is yet more proof of #1's general untidiness, but those pillows really were very appealing, as well as the soft sweater I was actually lying on!

Needless to say, there are also plenty of other pleasant napping spots in the house!

As you can imagine, Sei-Chan is not the only one who supervises what #1 eats...

Sei-Chan tried to tell me it was her turf, but we all know who is Queen around here, right?

Manly monday

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! I hope you are ready for a large dose of manliness today, as we have three guests in addition to us regulars. But let us start with the studliest of all, moi! Here I am getting my pedicure done last Friday:

And here is a rather fetching portrait. I had spent the night in a box prior to the farrier's arrival in the hope I would dry out, which I did:

Genji: #1 says I look a little like one of our owls in this photo:

Is it something to do with my eyes, do you think?

Tomaso: As you know, Camp Tomy is in session  at the moment and on Friday, not only did we have Fernant but a new friend, Tango, who has just been rescued by Ms. L, came over. We had a great time! Here I am with Tango:

And with MF (Mad Fernant):

#1 makes sure to take me out to the fields on my own once a day so I can chase my ball without the tank ramming me:

And "Tank" Fernant has his quiet moments too:

Da Beebs: Behold the new Dangle Champ!

And here I am practicing my bag sitting:

Last but not least, our buddy Basha would like to send this photo of himself to the lovely Loustiquette:

Some Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: It's official. We do not know where this week went, and this time, we do find ourselves caught rather short on the snuggle pic front. We will do what we can but some of us may be MIA. However, the one who was MIA last week is here with a vengeance this week! #1 took a selfie of her and Miss Violette a few days ago, and it has turned into the largest number of likes she has ever had for a single photo on Facebook!

And that is not all. She took another sefie on Friday. Look at Violette's eyes:

In case you has any doubts, Violette loves her #1, and vice versa!

She did take a selfie with the Big V too:

In other news, my Beebs has ben snuggling with #1 too:

And Tommy and Da Genj have been hanging out together:

As have Tommy and Sei-Chan, of course:

Well, I guess that just leaves me. Oops... I shall just have to go back through the archives and  share with you this photo of me and my Rainbow Brother Sen-Chan, taken when I was 4 months old.
