Tama-Chan: Well, #1 is still away! Ms. A is looking after us very well but we do miss our #1 and therefore are spending a lot of time waiting for her and simply snoozing!

Thankful Thursday?!

Tama-Chan: Well, NO, we are not thankful that #1 has left, but we realise that there are many things to be thankful for despite that.

I am thankful for all the wonderful birthday wishes I received and the lovely day I spent on Tuesday. I got lots and lots and lots of attention from my Number 1!

This was the scene in the afternoon as I lay napping with #1. You can see half of Genji on the right, and Tommy and my Bibi were there too!

Vidock says he is happy his bum is so well-admired by so many (well, maybe not YOU, but believe us, people seem to really find it very fine!):

My Bibi was hugely thankful to #1 for giving him another green bean to play with!

Wistful Wednesday

Tom: Yes, it's official. #1 is leaving us tomorrow and will not be back until Wednesday of next week. She is going to England to visit family and friends and is, sniff... abandoning us. Well, actually, my breeder, Ms. A is coming over later today, along with one or two of the girls, and will spend the entire week spoiling us, so it is unlikely that there will be much to pity...

Vidock was not at all impressed when he heard:

And Genji did a great job of looking as tiny and helpless as possible!

But she says she's going anyway. She says this will be her only holiday this summer and that things will get totally crazy when she returns and until after the Percheron World Congress in late September. So, we are, actually really, truthfully glad for her.

Bring on the cuddles Ms. A!

Tama-Chan's THIRD BIRTHDAY Tuesday!

Tama-Chan: It's my birthday today and I am THREE! I am going to spend the time surrounded by my most favourite people and being spoiled and indulged every moment of the day. #1 has promised me a mega Zoom-Groom session!

It seems to be a bit of a birthday tradition to look back on our lives so far, so here are some photos from my first year:

Manly Monday

Bibi-Chan: I get to go first today! I helped #1 to open our Christmas in July package a few days ago! It came from Purrs'n'Snorts. Thanks for all the cool stuff! There was a bag in there full of nip toys!

I chose one and had a great time with it, until Genji discovered it... He hasn't stopped playing with it since.

As we have mentioned, our weather has finally improved and we introduced Genji to the cat run a few days ago. As a big brother, it is my duty to teach and supervise:

It's almost a full-time job!

Vidock: I also want to tell you about that package we received because the biggest item in there was for ME!!!!

Yes! That is a bag of horse treats. #1 brought it along to the show last week and I got to have some as a victory celebration. I also shared them with Big Tom and Univers.

I have been resting since the show so no new photos of me, but someone sent #1 this nice photo of the two of us and I wanted to share it with you:

Oh, and by the way, I had a lucky escape last week. The equine dentist came to attend to a couple of other horses! You should have seen the equipment!

Tom: Now that I am feeling better, I am getting a little more play time with Fernant. He is as big as me and probably will soon be heavier, so he really needs to calm down a bit...

In other news, my tennis ball is back in action!

Gen-Chan: I am totally EXHAUSTED today! We had friends to dinner last night and I played and played and played, and then I played some more!!! And now I need to rest...

But before I go back to sleep, I have to tell you that I LOVE THE RUN!
