Marvellous Monday - Together Again!

Sei-Chan:
Hi everyone! I know it's Monday and thus supposedly full of manliness, but we have decided to go with the "Marvellous" theme today as we are celebrating #1's return last night. She made it home around 9:30pm, 22 hours after leaving her friend's flat in Tokyo! She says she got to see three movies and read a book on the plane but that it was still long and tedious.... Tommy, Mr. S and Ms. L went to meet her at the station in Le Mans, and we kitties were all gathered at the door for her arrival home!

She has yet to unpack properly but one of the things she brought back with her is some "Matatabi" spray (that's the Japanese equivalent to catnip and we just love it). So after she sprayed some of our toys, Tama-Chan and I had a bit of a 'Tabi-Fest!

But I was ready to resume my post on her in bed as soon as she got in!

First thing this morning, Tommy was ready with his Frisbee!

Apparently, he has done a bit of a job chewing on it whilst she was gone so it's not flying true anymore, and #1 has promised to break open a new one!

Tama-Chan found a wonderful sun-puddle in which to have a grateful nap:

And Bibi, being the helpful boy he is (Ha!) was there to assist #1 with the removal of the sheets after Mr. S and Ms. L left (sniff...). They really were wonderful to us and we hope they will come back!

#1 says she has one parting shot of Japan for you. She was delighted to be able to take this photo of stunning Mount Fuji from the plane shortly after take-off:

TOKYO ABYS!

#1 here again, filing what will probably be one last report from Tokyo. Today, I got to do something very fun. I visited a whole bunch of Abyssinian kittens! I went to see Ms. S who breeds Abys. Right now, she has mainly blue and fawn Abys, and there are 10 three and four months old kittens running around, being totally crazy! Nine of the ten are girls, and they are all exceptionally playful and affectionate.

Why look at the TV when you can look at me?

This was right at the top of a big pile of boxes, just under the ceiling!

Can we have some cuddles please?

Me, me, ME!!!!!

I want some too!

I am sure there is something interesting behind this glass!

And behind the door!

Oh and by the way... Every single one one of those kittens is a "Chan!"

This has been a great trip but I must say that today was one of the highlights!

I return to France on Sunday and we hope to be back to our regular posts on Monday or Tuesday.

Tommy Reporting

Hi everyone, Tommy here, reporting in #1's absence. I wanted to let you know that we are all well here. Mr. S and Ms. L are taking great care of us. I am getting lots of Frisbee time and have been going on all kinds of adventures with them, and the Chans are being cuddled and spoiled silly! We do not have any new photos of us for you, but here are a couple of archive shots of me and Tama-Chan:

We have been hearing from #1 on a regular basis and I am glad to report that she has not been wasting her time all of the time.

She went to this place, although I must say that I doubt they had anything suitable for me, given the establishment's name...

It seems that the average woofie size in Tokyo is "tiny."

She came across this place which only does clothing for woofies. Spare me!!!!

This is the place where she used to shop for her first kitty, Ikkyu, when she lived in Tokyo:

She says that Japan still has the best selection of food for cats!

She has also promised to come home on Sunday. That's only four days away!!!!

Tokyo-Style Christmas

Hello everyone. It's #1 reporting from Tokyo where it has been incredibly sunny and warm since my arrival (yes, it is supposed to be winter here...). I thought you might find it fun to see what the Christmas spirit looks like around here:

HAPPY BEEBSDAY, LITTLE BIG GUY!

Tama-Chan:
I feel in my role, as Mama Tama, that I am the best person to lead the celebrations for my son's FIRST BIRTHDAY! Yes, my once tiny little BIBI is one year old today!

Can you believe that in one short year, this:

has morphed into this?

Here is a little photo retrospective of Bibi's first year, starting with the Fab Four at one week:

The party at Poupounette Central will be ongoing through the weekend, so please come and join us!

PS: #1 made it safely to Tokyo!

THAT Thursday!

Tom
: Well, it's today. #1 is leaving us! It hasn't snowed as much as forecast around here although we hear there is more elsewhere. #1 isn't sure how she is getting to the airport yet, but she is leaving early and crossing all available fingers

I had my usual fun run this morning, and Mr. S came along too. He is great with the Frisbee, which is a relief!

So, all being well, #1 will post next from Tokyo. And don't forget! Saturday is Bibi-Chan's FIRST BIRTHDAY so there will of course be a special post for him!

Update: #1 made it to the airport in plenty of time and her flight is leaving on schedule!
