Manly Monday With The Boys

Yuu-Chan: After a few days of rain, the nice spring-like weather has returned. There was a bit of a sprint for the sky hammock this morning (#1 takes it down at night) and Tama-Chan won. She was in there even before it was fully in place! Anyway, #1 says she's ordered us another one!

I have been very busy. It takes time to look after a little brother:

And doing the Tail Poof to ward off potential invaders...

Bibi-Chan: It was a lot of hard work getting that "Master Snuggler" certification, so I have been resting up.

I also discovered the delights of eating pasta. It really is very yummy!

Tom: I had a nice weekend with lots of playtime with friends. I hung out quite a bit with Eve on Saturday, and on Sunday, Her 'Peiness ViVi came to visit!

#1 got out this great new toy for me yesterday. It's shaped like a rugby and I loved it. Unfortunately, it lasted only for the day. Too bad. Here I am with it before it was totally demolished.

As you know, I have also been enveloping little Bibi with love (and my paws!) which is a very manly thing to do!

And I have been helping #1 tidy up the garden...

Snuggles on Sunday - The "Master Snuggler"

It is with great joy and a fair bit of emotion that we announce today that Bibi-Chan has earned his "Master snuggler" certification at the age of only three months. Behold:

Super SEIturday!

Sei-Chan: Actually, there is nothing particularly amazing to tell you about this week but it has been such a lovely week that I feel in a super mood! I just LOVE having the family reunited. It is so great to have my big sister Tama-Chan around again!

And all of you were right, the little pipsqueak is OK. He spends his days purring and playing. I guess he had to turn out OK since he has such a nice Mama.

The best ting about the week is that we had really nice spring-like weather and so all us spent a big part of each day in the run. There are so many interesting things to look at...

We were tagged by our friends Tiny and Lautrec on one of those 10th photo of your folder things. There are five of us and we all have our own folders, so we will do them separately. Here is my 10th photo:

I was about three weeks old and still being bottle-fed!

Family and Friends on Friday!

Tom: I had a really fun time yesterday as I went with #1 to visit ViVi and Uncle U, and us woofies got to go to the restaurant to have lunch with them (this is France...). I don't have any photos of the restaurant or of me and ViVi, but guess what? We saw Fuku and GoGo! They looked really good and, for some reason, they seem bigger than Bibi! Here they are, doing the "Tail Poof"

And do you know who they were poofing their tail at? Their daddy!

Handsome Boubou (Boukhara) is the kittens' daddy, and he is also Sei-Chan's daddy! So, even though they are no longer with their Mama, the boys still have their daddy to look after them and give them lots of good advice.

Anyway, we had a great time seeing the boys, and #1 gave them a million cuddles each, although they were much more interested in playing!

We are trying to convince Uncle U to post photos of them regularly on his blog. He did make a start yesterday!

We also saw another very important lady when we were there. This is Bassano, Tama-Chan's Mama!

She's a pretty shy girl, so that's as good a picture as we were able to get of her. We also saw Sei-Chan's Mama and Yuu-Chan's Mama, but were not able to get good pics of them. It was a real family reunion!

After we got back home, it was time for my afternoon run, and I was delighted to see that my boxer friend, Eve, had come to stay with the neighbours! Eve is very young, very boisterous and loves to run. My kind of girl! We had the best time!

Thankful on Thursday!

Bibi-Chan: I am very thankful that I can snuggle up in bed with #1 at night...

That I have my mummy who still "gives me the once over" when I need it:

Way Back When-sday

Sei-Chan: #1 said I could have an extra post this week because I am her special little princess. So, I would like to take you back one year, to March 2009, when I was still a very little girl, living in the back room with my mummy, Viña del Mar:

March 2 - Barely 5 weeks old

March 6 - With my mummy

March 8 - Playing with #1

March 11 - Golden Girl!

March 17 - Almost 7 weeks old!

March 27 - Almost grown-up!

A note from #1: There was a question in one of yesterday's comments about how it came to be that it was Bibi-Chan who stayed here out of Tama's four kittens. Well, it was the result of a very well conducted campaign by the little guy. He was by far the earliest of the kittens to purr out of pleasure rather than just when nursing. Each time I would come into the room, he would start purring loudly and pawing at my legs to be picked up. I didn't stand a chance...

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh...... What can I tell you? LIFE IS GOOOOOOD! I am a free agent again and Bibi-Chan is busy helping #1 blog by walking all over the keyboard and attacking the cursor, rather than pestering me.

To make things even better, the weather has finally turned spring-like and the run is ours! I have been trying out my sky hammock for size:

and hanging out with Sei-Chan and Yuu-Chan

I am not sure how much Sei-Chan appreciated my borrowing of "her" hammock in #1's study, but she didn't actually say anything. She knows who's queen around here.

And I have been rediscovering simple pleasures such as lounging on #1's bed in the mornings...

I am hoping that everyone's Tuesday will be as terrific as mine!
