Benny The Black: We are not at all thankful that the heat is back, and will be particularly torrid between today and next Monday. We are, however, thankful that #1 finally got us a new cat tree! She had been looking for a while and finally came across one that looked good and was reasonably priced. It arrived just before she left for Luxembourg, so she put it together after her return. Dragon Ryū helped:

She ended up putting one of our older repurposed trees next to it, to make it even better for us, and I decided to give it a try:
I like it! Then a certain little scamp decided it was his, and he was quite rude when I tried to tell him that I am the senior cat around here:
It looks like the two of you are loving your new tree! We are so sorry about your heat. We don't like it any more than you do.
