#1 here. This is the time of year when my "Kanzan" Japanese cherry tree blooms, and of course it brings to mind my Tommy and my Beebs who are buried next to one another at the foot of the tree. It has been more than seven years since Tommy ran off to the Bridge, followed five months later by Beebs. I put a post about all of this on Facebook, but wanted to share it on the blog as well.
Here is a photo of the two of them, taken when Tommy was two and Beebs was a kitten. It says everything about their love for one another. I was so fortunate to have them both in my life.

the time knows no mercy and it runs and runs...sigh..

ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Da Beebs cuddled up to Tommy reminds me of how I used to curl up with our beloved brother Dennis!"
That tree is something, so pretty. So is the memorial. Beeps and Tommy still makes the heart smile.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences for your loss. No matter how long it’s been, it’s still hard.
