Wednesday Whinnies - New Pastures!!!

Violette (And The Big V too!): Pretty Neighs, Dear Friends! Thank you for being so patient after all the hints that we had a big announcement coming up. Unforeseen circumstances made it necessary for #1 to find The Big V and me a new pasture to call our own. Everything happened fairly quickly and then, on Monday, we actually moved! Some really lovely English friends of #1 offered us their lovbeautifulely field, which is at thew bottom of their garden. It's big, with tall trees for shade in the summer, and there is even a pond. And there's lots and lots of the lushest grass!

In the lorry, ready to go:

The drive was about 20 minutes. When we arrived, Ms. C unloaded me first, and then The Big V:

And there was our wonderful new pasture! We started munching on the delicious grass right away!

#1 did make sure we had hay available as well, but who needs hay when the grass is so delish?

We were also provided with delicious fresh water:

As though to celebrate our arrival, there was a beautiful sunset:

Then, the next morning, we snuck into the garden, looking for a cup of tea!

Ms. L thought it was hilarious, but #1 said she would be giving us a bit of a talking to when she comes today. Apples and carrots too, of course!

In case you are wondering, Heloise and Philomena will be staying with Ms. C as she owns a majority stake in Heloise and Philomena outright. But #1 says she is planning to swing by there regularly to get news updates and photos.
