Tama-Chan Thursday - The Rainbow Queen

Rainbow Queen Tama: Greetings, Dear Friends! I hope that all of you in the northern hemisphere are beginning to see signs of spring. #1 tells me that there are some lovely flowers in the garden but the nights are still chilly. Of course, here at The Bridge, the weather is lovely all the time. Anyway, back to business. And it's a new decade for my reminiscences, the third one for me. After the sadness of losing my boy Beebs in 2020, I was hoping for a quiet year and in some ways, it was, other than that the whole world came to a stop for months on end!

January 2020: There's nothing like starting the year off cutely, is there?

As well as enjoying snuggles with #1:

Any winter sunpuddles I could find:

And hanging out with little Genji:

February 2020 - I was getting into dangling seriously and trying to innovate with some vertical moves.

In late January, #1 had knee surgery, and she required a lot of nursing after she came home from hospital:

Everyone knows the healing power of snuggling with cats.

I would take the occasional break.

And would then return to duty, sometimes supported by Genji.

March 2020 -  I cheered #1 up by looking cute for her

Mid-month, she had to go to England for a few days and that is when all hell broke loose. Her car broke down and the first lockdown loomed. She got home by the skin of her teeth! We were so happy to have her back!

April 2020 - It was full lockdown. The world was quiet and #1 was home with us all the time! We loved that. But #1's knee was deprived of physio so I had to step in.

The weather was lovely and the cat tun beckoned.

It was the four of us: #1, me, Genji and Ollie. We were happy together.

Lazy days:

May 2020 - I looked cute. Always! The first lockdown ended and #1 resumed her physio.

I hung out with the others:

I spent more time out in the cat run:

June 2020 - It was a quiet time as we headed to summer

July 2020 - It was summer and we were all lazy

Doing the "zebra effect"!

Watching TV with #1:

Hanging out with Ollie:

August 2020 - And suddenly it was August and time for another birthday. I turned 12, a happy girl, adored by my #1:

September 2020 - As the days shortened and the temperatures began to drop, I enjoyed every single ray of warm sunshine!

October 2020 - As it got cooler, I started using my cubby on the landing more:

I often hung out with little Genji, He was such a sweet boy.

November 2020 - I hardly need to tell you that, as the days shorten and the temperatures drop, we all seek family time and snuggles more.

December 2020 - And another year was coming to an end. We always felt the absences hardest at those times, but we did our best to get into the festive spirit.

And this was the year that #1 bought the bed that was going to become my chosen beddie for the rest of my days!

And that is my story for 2020. Do join me again next week for the next year.

  1. So many beautiful photos of you, Queen Tama. You were a very good nurse when #1 had her operation on her knee. 2020 certainly was a strange year which continued into 2021. A year lost from our lives!
I only got half of the photos, but clicked on the first of the blank ones and they all came up in a row along the bottom of your blog.
