Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: We are a little later than usual posting today. Poor #1 had the day from hell yesterday. She had been working on a transport for several horses going to the UK, but the last horse would not get on the lorry (truck) despite all attempts and the transporter left without her. She is trying to find a solution and it is sapping her energy.

Anypurr, this has not stopped us snuggling and so we have some nice pics to share with you today. As always, I shall start with myself and #1:

In this next one, I am enjoying a snuggle with Mr. G as Benny walks all over Ms. N:

Here, we have Ryū and Benny, both snuggling with #1:

A very sweet Yin and Yang one of Momo and Benny snuggled up together:

And the same two snuggled up with #1 in bed. You can see the tip of Ollie's nose on the right:

Needless to say, Benny also spends a lot of time snuggled up to Ollie!

And here he is getting some snuggles in with Mr. G and Ms. N. He really is the ultimate snuggler!

When Mr. G and Ms. N came over for Ollie's Birthday, Mr. G took great photos, as always. First with Benny:

And of course with the birthday boy, Ollie!

And in turn, #1 snagged this one of Ollie and Mr. G:

And that's our lot of snuggles for the week. We're looking forward to many more in the week ahead.

  3. I am sorry the horse wouldn't load, but if they decide to be really stubborn there is not a lot can be done. This has probably already been tried. Once my horse had to go to the equine hospital for an operation and stayed a week. He decided he didn't want to come home. We all tried for ages, then his surgeon came out and said get ready with the ramp. He had a small bowl of water in his hand which he threw over his hindquarters. My horse was so surprised that he shot forward and the ramp immediately went up behind him before he had chance to realise what had happened. The surgeon said it worked every time. Whether it really does or not I don't know, but it worked that time.
    Lovely snuggle photos.

  4. Now that was a supreme and comprehensive snuggle session. Such gorgeous snuggle selfies with #1. Hopefully the horse will load next time, possibly after so long apart from their friends it will run up the ramp? I know how trying they can be, and how scared, too. We are sure it will turn out well in the end. Fate or karma, there will be a reason for the delay.

  8. We've heard 'as stubborn as a mule', but guess it should really be 'as stubborn as a horse'!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Ollie - I guess one can lead a horse to the lorry but you can't make her get in it :-)

  13. It sounds like #1 could use some extra snuggles for the terrible day she had. I’m sure you all will comply.

  14. We suggest you all have a Snuggles on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and for however many days it takes to make #1 feel better.
