Tommy: Woofs everyone! The weather has been really awful! Yesterday, we had wind and icy rain all day. There were no walks. Just quick ins and outs for necessary things, but that was it. Fortunately, I was busy helping #1 with taking down down that beautiful horse exhibition we put up in late September, so we were inside:
And guess what? When we were taking down one of the larger photos, this little guy fell out from behind a pillar!
He was picked up and put in a safe area. #1 sets that bats are awesome.
I also went out lunching with #1:
The brand name is Plato and the treats are all salmon, which I love. Let me tell you, they are very yummy! I get these treats right before bedtime!
Not much to report otherwise. When the weather is like this, this remains the main activity at Poupounette Central:
Poor little bat got disturbed! I hope he is okay. My human loves bats too.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you and #1 got out a bit.
ReplyDeleteThat last pose is a scream, heehee
We like that the bat was taken to a safe place.
Out little brown bats have white nose syndrome and we no longer see them in the Summer :(

I'm glad you got to do a little something Tommy and that was a good bat save!
ReplyDeleteTommy! You are one handsome dog! Mom laughed at you reclining on the sofa! THAT is one of Cinnamon's favorite poses!

Yep, I'm batty for bats too! I just hope that Patty O'Malley doesn't have a taste for them, since he'll eat anything...
ReplyDeletethat poor bat probably thought he had a great spot - glad he was safely relocated.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that #1 helped that cute little bat ! You look vey relaxed, Tommy. Purrs
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that bat is safe. Mom hates it when it rains because it makes for so much mud. Hope the sun comes out soon.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Even if the weather is bad you still get out to help #1 and enjoy some dining out with her too. You are one lucky dog.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and dry.
ReplyDeleteWe are bat fans too and feel sad they are so poorly understood by many people. White nose syndrome has decimated many colonies in the US. So happy the little fellow was moved to a safe new home.
