Tommy: We have several things to be thankful for today. The first one has to do with me because I gave #1 a scare... When she got home Tuesday night, I wouldn't eat my dinner. I had spent the day with Fernant and #1 called to see if there had been any problem and she found out that Fernant's mum had given us both a few grapes! #1 knew that grapes are toxic to dogs but not Fernant's mum. So, she was really worried. I did eat a couple of slices of ham so she thought maybe I would be OK, and the next morning, I ate my breakfast and then spent the day with her, charming all the Japanese guests she is looking after! Phew! Fernant's mum was read the riot act...
Here I am yesterday morning:
And here I am under the table at lunch, providing moral support:
The other thing we are thankful for is that the first "fitting" of the amazing Japanese ornaments for the festival went really well. Violette was an absolute star!
Here she is getting the last bits and pieces put on:
And with an absolutely ecstatic looking #1!
Finally, we would like to say that we are thankful for all the friends who have continued to comment on our posts even though we have been very intermittent in our own commenting. We really appreciate it!
I'm so glad you're okay, Tommy! I'm surprised more humans don't know that grapes are bad for dogs. Even my human knows that. Violette looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteGood that you are well Tommy.
ReplyDeleteGuess it is better to stick to treats made for woofies!
Violette, you look stunning and beautiful.
You are sure to be a star in the upcoming festival!

I am glad you are feeling better Tommy.
ReplyDeleteViolette, you look absolutely beautiful in all your finery. You are a credit to #1.
Oh Tommy, we are so happy you are OK. It could have been those grapes, but maybe it was just an upset tummy. In any event, kudos to #1 for being right on top of things.
ReplyDeleteOh Violette, you look MAGNIFICENT!!!!! We are just so amazed at your beautiful dressings.

ReplyDeleteSo happy Tommy and Fernant are OK. Violette looks colorful!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Fernant's mum knows that means no raisins either. Some folks just don't get the connection.
ReplyDeleteViolette! You look lovely!!! Well, you always look lovely but you look especially festive in your new clothes.
We're glad to hear you are okay Tommy. We're sure Fernants mom probably feels bad about feeding you grapes. That sure is a lot of stuff that Miss V has to wear. Of course she handled it great.
