Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! How are you all? Did you miss me? I am in great form. I missed #1 but it was nice to have Ms. T come and bring me apples and carrots regularly while she was away!
#1 came to visit us Vs yesterday. It was hotter than hell. Well 35°C (95F) so she came later in the day and arrived just in time for my supper, to which she added some yummy apples. So, she brought me my bucket and guess what? Instead of going straight to my yummy food, I first went up to her and gave her a huge cuddle! Isn't that super gentlestudly of me?
Here are a couple of photos she took of me:
Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Big V is right It is VERY hot at the moment. I spend most of my days in the shelter, trying to fight off the flies. #1 was a little upset when she saw how many were on my beautiful face, and she said she would bring a fly mask for me today and try it. I wonder how it will feel?
Here I am in the shelter. Can you almost SEE the heat?
This one is a little clearer. It was taken after I had my yummy apples:
It is as hot where you are as it is here!
ReplyDeleteIt is stifling here too - the thermometer (which is in the shade) showed 32C before lunch and there isn't a breath of air to be had. We hope you can all get cool and maybe take some naps later.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Vidock, we think you may have really put a big smile on #1's face with that greeting. Hope you enjoyed the apples.
ReplyDeleteViolette, we think you need to put on a fashion show for us once you get your gifts.

35 degrees is very hot indeed. We thought we would only get those kinds of temperatures here at the Equator. It is good to see you Vs again and YES Violette, we can actually see the heat.

ReplyDeletePoor beautiful Violette! Those nasty, dirty flies on your eyes and face; isn't there a fly collar for horses like there is a flea collar for dogs?
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys like the fly mask. It should help a bit. How nice of you to greet #1 before your treats. You must have missed her a lot. Hopefully the weather gets a little cooler. I know it's miserable.
