Tama-Chan: Are you wondering where the thrills are, Dear Friends? They are in the fact that today is the opening day of #1's first-ever solo photo exhibition, and we are all thrilled. Sadly, none of us kitties are going to the opening but Tommy, Vidock and Violette will all be there, so that is a pretty good turn-out for the Gang, don't you think? Our dear friends, Uncle E and Ms. S will be looking after the Vs, Mr. C (at whose place the Vs live) will be ferrying Violette, and his daughter, Ms. M, will be braiding Violette. Vidock will be braided, transported and looked after by his Uncle E, of course!
The theme of the exhibition is "The Travelling Percheron" and it will show how much the breed is treasured and appreciated around the world. It is being held at our local museum of popular arts and traditions, the Ecomusée du Perche. As you can imagine, there will be photos of the Vs throughout and they will also have a special section dedicated just to them! The exhibition site is an old priory which was built in the 11th and 13th centuries but has not been used a s a church since the end of the 18th century.
Here are a few more preview photos:
As for me, I have reserved my space for the rest of the week as it is supposed to get very warm again from tomorrow:
And #1 did take these rather fetching photos of me:
