Tama-Chan: As many of you already know, tomorrow is our dear friend SPARKLE's memorial service. There will be a commenthaton on her blog to benefit TABBY'S PLACE and we hope you will all participate. Tabby's Place is one of the most wonderful places where kitties who would have no hope elsewhere are loved, cared for, and learn to thrive. You can also donate directly to Tabby's Place by going here.
The suddenness with which Sparkle left us has made us stop and think about our own lives, and how important it is to live each and every day fully, enjoying one another and sharing all the love and joy that we were born with.
So our thought for the day is "treasure your family each and every day."
We agree. We would go there of course to comment as well.
ReplyDeleteWhether you are human or kitty (or any other species) life is too short to NOT enjoy every moment! Thanks for spreading the word about Sparkle's memorial - and for your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be there tomorrow ! You couldn't chose a better motto ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe donated yesterday to Angela of Tabby's Place and she is touched by Sparkle's thoughtfulness.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We agree with you and we will be sure to live well every day :)

That is a purrfect though for every day. We sure would not miss the special event for dear Sparkle.
ReplyDeleteWe treasure our family and all our Blogville friends too.
ReplyDeleteTu as bien raison Tama.

How well we can relate to your feelings, having lost Thunder as quickly and unexpectedly as we did. Our oldest grandbiped just completed a school project where she had to portray in drawings and no words a good "motto" to follow. She chose "live today as if there is no tomorrow". Although quite a deep thought for a 10 year old, how very true!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning and Mom
Your thought for today is one we should all live by.
ReplyDeleteSo very true.
ReplyDeleteOH, mommy and I both say that is true and we do, We also treasure other anipals here in the CB too. We love everyone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thought!
ReplyDeleteYep, mum says she loves us every day. We give her purrs and head bonks back to agree.
ReplyDeleteSo true! You never know what the next day will bring. Sometimes everything seems just fine and then without warning, nothing is the same again. Things should never be taken for granted.
ReplyDeleteSo true my wonderful friends :)
ReplyDeleteThank you - it is always good to be reminded of this.
