Genji: Every day, on FB and on blogs, we read about kitties and woofies and other animals who are looking for homes because they have been abandoned, or never had a home at all, and we realise how lucky we all are to be safe and loved at Poupounette Central.
We realise what a luxury it is to be able to just hang out together, watching squirrels or birdies, or just napping…
The Big V, Vidock, is thankful to have the guidance of someone like Uncle E who appreciates him, even when he is being a little bit naughty…
Sweet Violette loves being loved and is always thankful for her treat bucket!
Sei-Chan is thankful that she can lend #1 a paw with writing blog posts!
And Tommy is of course thankful for #1 indulging him in endless playtime!
And we know it shows she is a little bit strange, but #1 was thankful for these beautiful Normandy milk cows she got to see at a local agricultural fair the other day. She says she finds them simply stunning!
We do have a lot to be thankful for! We should never take for granted our status as being wanted critters.
ReplyDeleteYes, the cows are stunning! Nothing strange about that!
ReplyDeleteVidock we don't think you know what the word naughty means!! We bet you've had some great fun with #1 during this lovely weather Tommy. Enjoy your time in the run (it's supposed to be changing in the UK tomorrow with some rain).

Like us, you and your mom know to be thankful for the daily enjoyments and small pleasures of life, and this capacity to be amazed every day is precious. Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe agree! We are lucky for all we have and are thankful for it too.
ReplyDeletePurrs Georgia and Julie,

Those are all great things to be thankful for. We're thankful that you share your lives with us too.
ReplyDeleteThose cows are gorgeous and think of all that milky goodness!
ReplyDeleteWe too think of the less fortunate animals and are extremely thankful for a wonderful home.
Happy Thankful Thursday, sweet furriends!
XOXO

Yea, we are all so thankful for the good life. Those cows really are pretty!
ReplyDeleteLP loves cows too. . .so #1 is not all that strange! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, you are all fortunate to have such a loving and stimulating home. Oh that all the little four legged orphans in the world could be as fortunate!
Enjoy your family sweeties one and all!
the critters in the cottage xo
So many of us are so so lucky... Thanks for the reminder that some kits and pups and horses are not. And thanks to #1 for championing Normandy cows... They ARE so lovely!

We do have to be thankful for our good homes. We purr that all cats get a good home.
ReplyDeleteWe all have so many things to be thankful for. Having a good home is first on that list. :)
ReplyDeleteWe never take our status as loved and indulged family members for granted. Some of us still have a tiny bit of unhappy past scarred on our souls.
ReplyDeleteThose cows are very elegant. They remind us of a group of English Setters.
Great things to be thankful for!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my home also. Me and my mum have never seen cows like those before. All the cows around here are all brown (Red Devons) or black and white (Friesians).
ReplyDeleteWe are thankful for the wonderful posts you all did this week and are so sorry we are slow on keeping up with everything! Mom is failing miserably at keeping up with everything!
