Tama-Chan: Fear not, Dear Readers, none of us is sore. It is #1 who is almost unable to move… She is no longer used to being on horseback two hours at a stretch and is paying the price. But she is grinning from ear to ear as she does it, so we don't feel hugely sorry for her yet. You see, it seems the parade yesterday was just amazing. Violette was as perfect as any horse could be. She shied at nothing, basked in the attention and enjoyed every minute of the parade, plus every minute of being snuggled by hundreds of people this afternoon! We don't yet have all the photos taken by various friends, but we will share a few with you today, in lieu of our regular SoS post, and will leave the commentary to Miss Violette:

I spent the afternoon being visited by lots and lots of people and #1 keeps saying how awed she is at how nice and welcoming I am to everyone, especially children!
The fact is that I just love meeting people! Here is one last pic, of me going home through the same streets that we had ridden in a few hours previously!
