SEIturday...

Sei-Chan: Well, #1 left really early this morning. Tommy is spending most of the day with Fernant, and we are planning on enjoying sunpuddles. Not much time to be creative, though, so here are just a couple of photos of me:

Wishing you all a sunny and fun SEIturday!

Frantic Friday

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! It's me again (I do realise that some of you will be disappointed as you might prefer a purr or a woof…) and I just need to tell you that #1 and I are a little frantic today as we are getting ready for a very big day tomorrow. You see, our town is holding its big annual medieval festival this weekend. On Saturday morning, there is a parade of horses and riders through town, and we are taking part! Here is the poster:

The parade starts at one of our local supermarkets (not very romantic…), goes through town, and ends up at our medieval castle. This is the gate we'll be going through:

And this is the castle:

Can we please ask for a few crossed paws and hooves that all will go well for us? The weather forecast is for sunshine!

Thinking Back on Thursday

Tom: Yesterday, it rained and poured and then poured some more ALL DAY. #1 and I both looked like wet dishrags each time we came in from outside. The kitties did not go outside except for a brief period when it stopped mid-afternoon and then, that Beebs managed to catch himself a blue tit in about 30 seconds flat. Fortunately, #1 saw it happen, cornered him and got the birdie away unharmed. She placed it outside in a safe, dry and dark place to recover and, next time she looked, he was gone. Phew!

Anyway, as it hasn't exactly been photo-op time, we are looking back through the archives for some fun shots.

This is an early flying ears shot of me, taken back in the summer of 2008, and it's one of #1's all-time faves of me!

From late 2008 is this diva shot of kitten Tama:

And a great one of baby Sei from May 2009:

Here is the Beebs on top of a kitten pile of him and his siblings in February 2010:

And a poofy-tailed Genji shortly after he arrived at Poupounette Central in July 2011:

We are thankful to have so many photos of all of us and really love looking through them!

Wednesday Whinnies

Vidock: Studly Neighs, Everyone. As you know, I am back in my birth home for a couple of weeks, with my Mummy and Daddy, and Grandmama, and sister, and half-sisters and brothers! They have all been very impressed by how big and strong I have become as they had not seen me in 18 months.

Yesterday, Uncle E took me out to work for the first time and I decided to show off a bit (he calls it being naughty):

I got a good telling off, and then we set out with Uncle E riding the tire (he says no vehicle until I behave myself…):

Can you see the other horses on the left of the picture above? Among them are my Mama, Jessy, and my sister, Altesse!

Here I am being a good boy:

And when we got back I got to strut in front of my Daddy, Orgueil!

Here is a better picture of him as I was going by:

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! #1 caught this nice shot of me the other day, in a field of pretty buttercups:

I am getting ready for my big day on Saturday, when #1 rides me in the medieval parade in town. It has been raining a lot but the forecast looks OK for Saturday. Still could we ask for some crossed paws that the sun comes out?

Our friend Mr. D came to give me a bit of a pedi so I look my best:

And a friend of #1's from England sent me this beautiful piece of tail jewellery!

Thank you, Ms. S! It is simply fabulous!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: It's my day of the week again and I can report that there has been much continuing rain, interspersed with the occasional sunpuddle. We have no news of the Big Cat yet. #1 is hoping to hear something today.

As I said, we are on the hunt for any and all sunpuddles, so here are some of the ones I found, starting with a nice dangle move!

And a couple more:

And one of me meditating in the jungle:

In closing, a combo meditation and dangle shot from the study:

Manly Monday

Vidock: Study Neighs, Everyone! Guess what? I had another big adventure yesterday! Uncle E and #1 showed up late morning with the trailer! Uncle E came to get me:

I hopped into the trailer:

And next thing I knew, I was HOME!!!

Can you see at the back of the picture? That's BIG TOM!!!! I was back at my birth home! I did a little joyful dance:

Apparently, I am here for a short while, to get my driving licence. Isn't that exciting? In the meantime, look who's in the next stall:

That's pipsqueak one and two, the two yearling colts. Diablo, the one in the front, was sucking up to me big time!

Da Beebs: The other day, I decided to try #1's banana-strawberry drinking yoghurt. It was yummy!

I've been hanging out with big bro, Tommy:

Oh, and I was forgetting some great times in a box!

That box and tail combo is awesome!

Genji: The weather has been mostly rainy, so I have been doing a lot of napping, sometimes with that long-legged bro of mine…

You were wanting something, #1?

A boy always has to be spotless!

Tom: I spent some time hanging out with my pal Gitan. He is an Irish Setter/Brittany Spaniel mix and both handsome and sweet. A real gent! He is on a chain part of the day because he lives right next to the road and has the bad habit of wandering onto the road.

I also tried out some spring fashions:

And got to romp in the fields when it wasn't raining:

Wishing you all a great Monday!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: As you know, it has been a complicated week for us at Poupounette Central, and we have been snuggling a lot with #1. But today. I would like to start off with a group snuggle shot!

Yes, that is me AND Sei-Chan snuggling simultaneously with Tommy!

Now here is one of just me and my Tommy:

And one of just Sei-Chan and Tommy:

One of Sei-Chan snuggling with #1:

You have guessed by now that Genji is the specialist in OTT (over the top) snuggling with #1…

Da Beebs prefers to just cuddle up next to #1 all evening as she watches TV:

Although he does like to sit on her and make biscuits occasionally too!

We have no snuggle pics of the Vs today, but promise we'll have some for next week. In the meantime, there was a nice rainbow here yesterday evening and we hope it is a good portent for the coming week!

Wishing you all a very Snuggly Sunday!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: I was looking through my SEturday post from last week and things were pretty lovely, weren't they? It was sunny and we were all enjoying time in the run. Since then, we've had bucketloads of rain and our time in the run has been very limited. I am not at all sure what I even have as photos for you…

Oh, I can tell you about a fun moment I had. I did a half-Houbibi!!! Can you believe it? Me???? Well, #1 had left the front door open so I decided to take a peek. Of course, all the other doors were closed so I couldn't go anywhere and, as you can see, I didn't exactly go far. Still, it was an adventure!

In case you're wondering about the log, #1 had put it there as she was about to bring it in to position it in the run. After I got back in, I showed off to #1…

And then decided to meditate on the meaning of life:

Oh, and in case you're wondering... yes, they're still around…

Wishing you a lovely SEIturday!

PS: Our UK satellite TV feed is back on! The whole thing had to be reinitialised.
