This blog was started in June 2008 by a young sorrel Abyssinian cat called Sen-Chan and a slightly younger English Springer Spaniel called Tommy. The years that followed were full of hellos and goodbyes. Some, like Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan, were lost very young. Other Abys like Sei-Chan, Bibi, and Genji stayed with us for quite a few years. But they too have gone now, as has Tommy. In the interim, several Percheron horses joined the family, starting with Vidock in 2010, Violette in 2012, and then Hotesse and Heloise in 2020. They contribute to the blog regularly. But the mainstays are Ollie, also an English Springer Spaniel, Tama, an Abyssinian queen who has been with us since late 2008, and Benkei (Benny), a little ruffian who joined us in 2021, followed by Momo in 2022, and another Aby boy, Ryū, in 2023.. We live in rural France, in a region called the Perche, which is famous for its heavy horses.
Tommy we bet you and Harley have lots of fun and games in the mud - is there a "who can get the muddiest" competition? That would be fun. Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You two compliment one another very well! And tracking in all that mud into the house (and car) gives #1 something to do , right Tommy?! What else would she do with her time but collect all your mud samples ?!! :p
Looks like you and your friend are having lots of fun playing muddy games. Thank you for your very kind offer for Eric. At the moment he is eating reasonably well which is probably due to the injection the vet gave him. The injection should last about 2 weeks, so we will know then if he will or won't eat. We know what a remarkable difference the tablets made for GJ, so if Eric does completely lose his appetite I will let you know and would be very grateful to get them through you.
What a pretty boy your friend is! You two look like great companions. Now when you go to visit V &V, there will be someone very special waiting for you.
*gulp* protect from wolves...? Momma sez it's a very good thing we're indoor kitties, cuz the drought around here has driven coyotes into our neighborhood in the suburbs (2 doggies have been killed by it so far ... :(
